Rainkit wandered around the camp, feeling useless. She was imagining herself on a hunting patrol. She attacked a leaf, sending it flying, then dashing after it and slicing it in half.

(Riverkit! I knew Rainkit didn't sound right! Thanks. Yeah, I am Riverkit. I think I was asleep when I wrote that. o_0)

(Just wondering. I just read Dark River again and I thought our clan was missing something. It was patrols.)

Nightkit bounced out of the nursery wide awake. she saw Thunderkit talking to Moonlight. she ran into the two cats with a mew. "hi!" she squeeked. "when can i be an apprentice Moonlight?" she asked. one more day then she could be an apprentice. she looked at Moonlight for her response.

Moonlight purred, a little startled to having Nightkit beside her. "Very soon, maybe I'll become one of your mentors. But right now I'm going to go hunt, go back to the nursery and play." Moonlight turned. "And if I scent ANY of you out of camp your butt is mine!" She hissed over her shoulder. She laughed at herself and walked out of the camp.

Blackmoon watched as Moonlight walked out of camp, everytime he looked at her it was more of a sister love he felt now. He sighed and licked Siverstone's head, she began to purr. "Blackmoon, can I tell you something?" Silverstone asked.

Blackmoon stopped grooming and nodded, "Sure, what is it?"

"Um...well before you became a warrior you looked at Moonlight with love and now when you look at her its just plain love. Do you not love her anymore?" Silverstone's fur bristled with embaressment.

"Well, I use to dream about spending my whole life with her, but now all I feel for her is a sister kind of love. Why do you ask?'

"Um...its just....I was just wondering." Silverstone sighed and lay her head on her paws. Blackmoon shrugged and began grooming her again.

"ok." Nightkit bounced back into the nursery as instructed. she hoped she has Moonlight as her mentor.

Thunderkit jumped up and raced after Nightkit, poucing on her. "RAWR!"

Sunshadow purred, watching Nightkit and Thunderkit play around.

Nightkit yowled in suprise as Thunderkit jumped on her. "grrr!" she hissed back at him. she jumped on him pinning him down.

Riverpaw pranced around the clearing, proud of her new apprenticship.

Moonlight walked through the forest, her ears listening for any sign of movement and her nose on the ground. She may be blind, but she wasn't useless. She smelled a mouse near by and soon she heard it. She looked towards the sound, crouched and lept. She landed on the mouse, the scent filled her nose. She bit down on little body, killing it.

She purred happily and walked back towards camp, she didn't feel like hunting that much.

Blackmoon sighed and lay his head on his paws, Silverstone looked at him. "Whats a matter?" She asked, concern in her voice. Blackmoon shook his head and stood up. "I just need some fresh air, I'll be back." He walked towards the camp enterence and out of the camp.

Nightkit bounced around the nursery, tomarrow was the day she'll be an apprentice. "i can wait!" she squeeked. she saw Riverpaw showing off of being an apprenice. "show off." she growled "she wont be the best apprentice for all i know." then started to groom her spicky fur.
