Role Playing the Past

[Storm_Fighter_Alchemist]

*Zero, after a few hours of sleep, finally woke up. He looked around, noticing Ethiriel asleep in the chair next to him. He smiled and slid out of bed soundlessly. He lifted his sleeping 'little sister' from the chair and placed her in bed where he had been moments before. He sat down in the chair and sighed.*I hope Shadow's okay...

Shadow continued into the courtroom. His mood hadn't really changed any seeing as how another gaur came and started to escort him. When he finally got in he was thrown into a seat in front of the judges seat and he looked up fiercely at the female there.

"Shadow Evailian, age; 1700 years old.... case: killing and changing a newborn wolf, and an old friend of your own pack. How do you plead...." the lady said her voice high pitch and ringing.

"And what does it matter to you...." he said to the judge and everyone gasped. "you really don't honestly care about the new-born.... its just another one to rule... to try to savagely make him succome to... you know that as well as I do.... you did it to the king...." he said lowly and everyone hissed at the same time. The lady stood up and walked down from the judges podium and slapped the girl.

'Hm... and you haven't succum to my power..." she said seductively in his ear and he looked away his body freezing.

"N-no...." he said through clenched teeth. "and I won't....... not to you or any of your other little pets...." he hissed back and she ran a finger up and down his throat and chin.

"We'll see about that....." she said and leaned back up and sighed releasing her spell on him agian and he winced slightly. She took in a deep breath when she heard him do so and smirked "You're released for now... " she said in her wretched voice. (( srry now power for 4 freakin days ))

*Zero sat up from his chair and stretched. He moved to the door, swinging it open and moving out into the hallway. He closed the door behind him silently, as not to wake Ethiriel. Moving down the hallway, he came to a door with several locks on it. He placed his hand upon the door and said,* O Ne Zero. Piqu ra. *the moment the words had left his mouth, the locks on the door slid silently to one side, and the door swung open. Stepping inside, he closed the door behind him, listening to the locks click shut. Inside the room was all sorts of manner of scrying equipment, from tarot cards to scrying basins. Moving to a slick black obsidian bowl, he filled the bowl with water and closed his eyes.* Okay, no more tricks today. *he placed his hands over the bowl and murmured, * Show me Shadow. *the water rippled for a moment before showing Shadow in the courtroom with the woman. He stared into the bowl, not taking his eyes off of Shadow.*

Shadow sat there silently still and looked at the women stilly. His eyes cold and emotionless still. He suddenly go thte feeling that he was being watched and mutter a few words that would counter-act any spells or things that would show him to people. "You wouldn't let go of your stupid power anyways..... but that doesn't matter...." he said and got up and walked out of the room. Gaurds followed him out and he closed his eyes and sighed once more. He then apparated to the room where Zero was "Don't watch where I go...." he said his voice cold and dull. (( hey sorry hun I gotta go to bed night ))

*Zero, hearing Shadow's voice, spun around to face him. In doing so, his hand hit the bowl he was using, sending it crashing to the floor and spilling water everywhere.* Shadow-sama! I thought this room was appparation-proof! How did you get in here?? *he seemed to shrug this off though as he continued.* Nevermind that. How did your meeting go? I only saw the end of it.

Shadow's jaw clenched and he looked away for a second, down at the bowl. " I apparated.. you'll have to use a stronge shield than what you're using in order to keep me out...." There was a long pause and he returned his eyes to Zero "How is your sister.... she seemed really stressed when I left." he said giving him a questioning look and completely ignored the question about the meeting.

*Zero sighed and began cleaning up the mess on the floor.* She's really stressed. You have no idea what happened to her... involving demons... *he looked up at Shadow.* A demon gave her a set of scars on her back you'll probably never see... *he drew a diagonal line through the air with a finger.* She has four slash marks across her back that have been there for years. She hates demons... and now she's forced to live with one for a brother... *he sighed and stood up.* Well, now what do we do? I don't want to bother Ethiriel, but I have GOT to get out of this place and do something.

Shadow sighed "You're kinda not a full-fledged demon... more so just a werewolf of sorts ... and well I can't really help you with the whole gotta get out and do something thing...." he said and looked around the room again. He didn't really know what to say anymore than what was already said and didn't feel like being in the place either. (( sorry this week I"ve been uber busy with getting homecoming stuffs done ^^; and last night was homecoming ^^ ))

*Zero aimelessly played with the tip of one ear, listening to Shadow. He finally let his hand drop and he nodded.* Very well. I understand if you wish to go and do your own thing. I'll find out what I need to in good time. *he brushed by Shadow and made his way out to the gardens of the castle. He sat by a pool of water created by a cascading waterfall and stared at his reflection aimlessly, lost in his own thoughts.*

Shadow sighed and looked around, he then decided to go pay a visit to Eithriel. He walked through the halls silently looking for her. Finally he found her laying in the bed where Zero had been. He looked at her with an emotionless face and walked forward. "Eithriel..." he said his voice calm and silent.

*Ethiriel lay still for a moment before letting her eyes slowly slide open. She blinked once or twice before turing her attention to Shadow. She turned over onto her side.* Shadow? When did you get back? *She sat up in bed and touched his shoulder.* Where's Zero? Is he alright?

Shadow looked down at her hand then looked at her again in the eyes " I got back about a few minutes ago... I caught Zero spying on me... and he's just outside wanting to get out of here..." he said and shrugged looking away and out the window.

*Ethiriel lowered her hand and looked out the window.* He was spying on you? Oh, you must mean he was scrying! There's not much of a difference... exept spying is being mean. I have a feeling Zero was just worried about you. *She looked up at Shadow, a knowing look in her eyes. After a moment, she spoke again.* Is something bugging you, Shadow?

Shadow looked down at her and riased an eyebrow then looked back out the window. " No... there's just plenty on my mind right now that I should take care of but I"m refusing to do so..." he said his voice showing a bit of frustration that he now felt.

*Ethiriel shrugged and stood up next to Shadow.* It's better to do those things you need to do instead of letting them hang over your shoulders. *She moved towards the door, then turned back to Shadow.* I'm going down to see Zero. Just to make sure he's okay. You coming?
