AngryRobotsInc. Calixti Those sound amazing. Minus the cottage cheese on the third one, and maybe with a substitution for the eggplant on the second. Not a fan of eggplant. In the third one, the liquid from the cottage cheese is cooked away, leaving just the curds behind, if that would help at all. And I can't really think of a suitable replacement for eggplant on the sandwich. Mainly just texture-wise. Maybe a portobello mushroom. It does help. I could probably be okay with just the curds, it's mostly the sliminess from the liquid that puts me off. As for the eggplant, I may just have to give it another try if I spot it on sale. Because I can't stand mushrooms. I'm kinda picky. sweatdrop

Calixti It does help. I could probably be okay with just the curds, it's mostly the sliminess from the liquid that puts me off. As for the eggplant, I may just have to give it another try if I spot it on sale. Because I can't stand mushrooms. I'm kinda picky. sweatdrop I can't stand mushrooms either, so I'm right there with you. If you make the pasta dish, I usually cook the cut up kale in a pan with a little water, until it's soft but not mushy, and then toss in the cottage cheese and minced garlic, and cook until the liquid is gone. Then mix it with the drained pasta. I don't have any exact measurements or times for that one, as I tend to just throw it together. If you like pasta dishes with garlic and greens, but are still iffy on the cottage cheese, I like to make penne (and save a little of the water), and toss it with an olive oil, garlic, and parsley sauce. To make that, you heat about 1/4 cup olive oil, and then toss in about 1/2 - 1 cup of chopped parsley, and a few cloves of minced garlic (amount depends on how much you like garlic), and cook for about 3-4 minutes. Toss it with the pasta, along with a little of the pasta water (otherwise, it dries out something terrible). I tend to mix in about a cup of parmesan cheese, as well, after mixing in the sauce. It's also good with some boneless, skinless cut up chicken mixed in (I usually use thighs, cooked in olive oil, but breasts would work too).

Also, Tea: I'm ordering the things you directed me toward tomorrow, provided my school doesn't do too much damage to the credit card. If the university insists on taking another payment, I'll have acquired the cash for the wax and a set of kisky by Monday, in which case I'll order them then.
