Summer class session is over! Now I just need to do the stupid a** stuff for this week and get ahead in my online postings, and figure out what other summer assignments I have, and start finding people to help me with my thesis!

Yes and yes possibly. I need to balance out costs and such and see if I can get into a positiion of getting little things like vacation time and insurance while writing my thesis, though.

I just got sent one of the most amazing job listings ever! I would say that it totally made my day, except my day was already totally spiffy*. Apparently they're doing interviews on the 28th, someone from here totally needs to do it, just cuz it would probably be one of the craziest interview stories ever!


*Torchwood was AMAZING!!!! If it weren't for the fact that I have dial up, I would probably be watching the rest of it online right now... damn cliff hanger! I mean, I've been watching Whedon shows for ages, but that cliff hanger still got me totally worked up. I need to watch it again tomorrow, as my family kept pausing it so they could talk about my sister's damn sorority!

This is a question mainly for TeaDidikai.

Only recently, last year, learning that G~ is a racial slur I have stumbled onto a problem. When people use the term to denote a person or people I will make them aware of what it means, but I'm not sure if I should say anything when someone names their pet G~. My aunt has a cat named G~, I have several online friends with dog/cats/other pets with the same name. I'm just not sure if I should speak up in this case as it's being used as a name for a beloved pet.
