I really go to see that movie "when the earth stood still" So sci fi creepy and well its like independence day type thing. I wuv it. Anyways I recently saw the movie "The House Bunny" starring Anna Faris from "Scary Movie" the movie was great of course ahem they showed lots of pretty ladies from the playboy mansion. Besides all that I saw it on bluray it was so worth it. I enjoyed it it was creaters from the adam sandler movies umm happy madison pictures i think? Correct me if i'm wrong. As well as the screen writers of legaly blonde. I was LMAO in most parts of the movie since Anna Faris plays a real good air head when she wants to be lol. Well ok ok *sigh* it was part of it in seeing pretty women still was a funny great movie.

Sparkly Sandy says...

The last movie I saw at home was Wanted. It was pretty good, IMO.
The last movie I saw in theatres was Twilight.... A great disappointment, really.

Have a sparkly day!

*Bloodsuckers* 4.6/10

*Summery from imdb:* The year is 2210. The universe is overrun with hundreds of vampire species that prey upon humans in brutal, surprise attacks. That's when intergalactic Vampire Sanitation teams are called upon to lay waste to these vile predators. V-SAN crews, who've come to know their line of work as "the toughest job you'll ever hate," are comprised of rough and rugged men, women-and in the case of the Heironymous crew-a half human-half vampiress named Quintana, who draws upon her psychic prowess to help the V-SANs track their quarry. Led by Captain Nicholas Churchill and second-in-command Damian Underwood, the Heironymous team becomes the target of a deadly trap that has a much deeper and darker purpose. Directed by their vile leader Muco, the vampires have no plans of living peaceably with humans...they want to rule the universe.

*Summery from me:* This is what I image the offspring of *Farscape* and *Lexx* to be. Space the final fontier these are the voyages of the V-Sans their ongoing mission to seek out and destroy all vampiric life. The chars comprise of a reckless capt, a by the book 1st, a vampire crewmen (who's a hot chick) an Asian wanabe punk rocker and the ever so charming hillbilly. We see about two or three types of vamps two are noteworthy for the name of the species and they are the Leatherfaces and the Vorhees. Nice nods if you ask me. The movie is filled with nods like that so that is a nice plus.

*Audio:* 3/10. There are many times when the background music drowns out the lines of the actors and that's just no good. The music itself fit nicely with the film and sounds good to boot. When there isn't background music it sounds like the mic was to far away from the actors and it can be tough to hear what they are saying.

*Visuals:* 7/10. The cgi in this was laughable, it looks like they had two diff groups do the cgi "group A" who I'm guessing was none thing more than someone who messed around with say /Maya / for a weekend. Then you have "group B" who I'm guess does this kind of stuff for a living. The Vampire Costumes were very good, you can tell that sometime was taken to design the outfits and figure out what each species would look like. Luckily for us the viewers there wasn't a whole lot of cgi in the movie.

*Acting:* 4/10. Oh god, oh god, oh god. The two lead females were just everywhere with there acting and they both have about 40 titles under their belt. The were not the right pick for the chars they played. It seemed to me that they would be the total oppiste of what they played in the movie. "Oh look at me I'm uptight with this word then I'm all sad with this one!" that's how I feel about the acting for the lead chicks. Now A.J Cook is in it - and you may recall her from *Out Cold* and *The Virgin Suicides* - and she does a hell of a job acting(side note BANGING BOD) when she's to play helpless she does just that play helpless when she has to play a leader of a group she does that. Michael Ironside is in it and I know I need not say things about his acting, come on his freaking Michael Ironside! The two lead males would I won't go into detail with did a good job, none thing super and none thin shitty. I would like to see them in more roles.

*Writing:* 4/10. HAHAHAH I don't even know how to write this part up. There were some funny lines in it and a lot of WTF is that line doing in here for. Now it could have just been out the line delivered but I don't know. Take a look these are all the memorable quotes from IMDB:
Damian Underwood: The universe was filled with intelligent life...most of it VAMPIRIC.
-----------------
Rosa Wong: What a surprise! What? It's surprising! Don't you think?
-----------------
Quintana: That their genetics were merged by the vampirazation process was of profound interest.

kind of sad that these were the memorable quotes. The writer needs to work on his craft a bit more but I do see some good work coming out of this guy.

*Dir/Ed.:* 5/10. Very avg on both sides, there were some nice transitions. Only one really bad Ed part and it doesn't last very long.

*Things I learned from this film:*
1) Anyone can make a movie
2) Good music helps out a bunch
3) Female vamps are pale in the face and tan everywhere else

*Bottom line:* If you're like me when it comes to low budget films this is a must buy but only at the 10 buck mark anything more than that I say pass.
