Next thing you know, I'll discover how to put on eyeliner.
I can do that.

You're a bit far away to do it for me.

I have to get my local makeup maven to show me. Even harder since I switched to mineral makeup for that too. The first time I attempted to put it on, I ended up with black blush instead.

honestly...i was using red blush for the longest time to line my eyes. it can work, and often better than the shite they sell and market for twice the price.

You'll need an angled eyeliner brush. Tap a little into the cap, then moisten the tip of the brush so that you can get a drop of water to fall off into the cap. Mix it with the powder and apply like liquid eyeliner.

I use my blush as eyeshadow all the time, particularly when going for a natural look.

I heart my everyday minerals.

Been there, done that. It's the actual applying that I have issues with. Don't have a steady hand. Just need more practice.

What are you using to steady your hand? I rest the heel against my cheek.

How far away from your mirror are you? If you have to lean too far, it can throw off your balance.

New shirt. New earrings. New beads.

One happy Tea.

Everytime I try that, it feels really awkward. That works better when I'm using pencil-type.

Don't lean much farther than the sink.

Applying eye makeup, I find I have better luck with a small table mirror, one that has a stand. Easier to balance, and easier to see what I'm doing with it closer than most other types of mirrors.

This would be why I don't wear eye makeup besides mascara. Or much makeup at all for day-to-day life--just tinted moisturiser, mascara, lip gloss or lipstick, a bit of blush if I look dead, a bit of powder if I'm super-shiny.

I'm lazy. sweatdrop

Blush really should not be used on the eyes. In some, the red pigment causes sty's amongst other things.
That is why you don't get many red eyeshadows.

My daily make-up consists of some concealer, medium coverage powder and mascara.
When I go out, I like to make a little more effort. ^_^

I'm battling the urge to cut my hair short again. Davit, my best beloved requested I grow it out another inch or two, and then I can cut it when I'm sick of that.

He also wants it to be my natural color. ******** that. That's boring. If I'm to have a conventional cut, I'm at least going to have fun with my limited color palette.

This has been a test of the "nuri gives a damn about her looks" this is only a test. Next thing you know, I'll discover how to put on eyeliner.

I got about as far as colored nail polish and said "******** it" to makeup. XD

Too much work for results that don't really jibe with my style to begin with. That and I'm too twitchy around my eyes to do eyeliner, mascara or eye shadow right. sweatdrop

The mineral powder makeups, like Bare Minerals, Mineral Element, Mica, Mineral Essentials etc are all safe for eyes. That's what Nuri and I use.

I very rarely wear any makeup at all. It's because I wash my face a few dozen times a day and I don't want to have to reapply.
