Thankfully I don't deal with much bad luck.
Not sure what that other part is supposed to be asking... and whether it was supposed to be relating to the bad luck question, or was supposed to be a separate question on its own.

It's a natural human tendency to want to be accepted. But I wouldn't do "anything" to try to fit in. If I fit in by being myself, then excellent. If not, then that's too bad. I'm not going to act like something I'm not.

I'm always open-minded. I may not always agree with the ideas or thoughts of others, but I will also listen to their arguments.
3025. tell others to shut up?
I've done it once or twice, only because I was trying to talk and they kept interrupting me. I don't like it when I'm actually wanting to say something and keep getting interrupted.

Not on a normal basis, no. But I do sometimes like quoting River Song's line: "I hate you!" and following it up with the Doctor's: "No, you don't!"

I wouldn't say "hate" per se, but I'm not much of a fan of rap, hard rock, screamo, metal, etc. music.
