Meromictic AliceLoathesWonderland Meromictic AliceLoathesWonderland I played pokemon in bed until 3 am last night xD Would it be shocking if I said I went to bed at a decent hour last night? It was pretty weird waking up early this morning. xd Considering I didn't have anything to do. Tomorrow I'm stuck at the store for another 9 hours though. ;.; What classes as decent? xDD Anything before 2am? <<;; Same with me before 2am is what I call early even 1:59! I have to wake up at 7am every day,but normally cannot sleep tell 1:30-2oclock

So, I'm teaching myself o_8's art style to adapt various points onto my own style, since currently my own style is just basic animoo style and a little tinge of western comic .....so by studying how o_8 made bodies and just the random character sketches, I'm noticing different flares and points that make the style itself pop Now, don't get me wrong I'm not forging o_8's style or trying to copy it exactly to rip o_8 off or anything, I'm making comparison's between my own and itself Overall it seems the artist for Kim Possible and o_8 do a lot of the same characterisations in their drawing styles, as well as a few features I do Which brought me to the conclusion that there must be something in a drawing/painting etc that certain artist-types do because it has a certain visual appeal for the overall flow of the piece itself

Not to sound rude, but you're just figuring that out? It's all about creating an appealing stylization that'll capture the attention of others to help move the point through the work. A lot of artists go for similar characteristics because that's what is often viewed as "appealing"
o_8's stuff is super exaggerated, but mostly because his themes are usually very quirky and that echos through in the way he draws his women. Large thighs, tiny ankles, tiny waists, and other physically impossible anatomical characteristics--seemingly parodied sexual appeal, but that's what gives his designs such a fun, high energy feeling. (at least the way I view them)

Not rude at all razz I had just been so focused in my own style that I never really compared other styles to it, or looked in depth at many other styles...so having noticed that there are certain areas that we match on made me excited in a manner of speaking lol I just don't pay attention to a lot very well
