People! Go look at the shops!
Go to H & R Wesley and keep talking to Louie. There's a very subtle jab at very hated vampire series in there. ninja

In-service day tomorrow, so no school for me! I'm totally going to sleep and veg out all day. (And work on my craft exchange. Maybe homework. Heh.) I'm sooooo tired. My schedule this term is nuts. I am a bit disappointed that the studio is closed as well, tomorrow, because I could use some time to catch up. I don't have any pics of stuff I've made this term yet, but here are some things I made first and second term in ceramics -- click the thumbnails/links for larger pics and descriptions, don't want to spam anyone. smile Bird house and feeder; stoneware, glaze, iron stain, cone 10 reduction.Fox mask; iron stain, stoneware, cone 10 reduction.Baby bird; black and rutile stains, stoneware, cone 10 reduction, polymer clay, acrylics, lichen, moss, twigs, feathers.Sculpture's my strong point, and I have neglected wheel throwing until this term, so that's what I'm focusing on. Which means my pieces are fairly boring right now. (I'm making a lot of planters. It's the only vessel I can think of that I currently need an unlimited amount of, in the size that I am currently able to throw. Too big/clunky to be comfortable teacups/tea bowls, too small to be a valuable bowl, too squat for anything else. Sigh. Well, there's a steep learning curve. Heh.)

I'm finally getting my first tattoo next week, at a Buddhist temple in Thailand. Apparently they're very small, but they're also done using bamboo. And while my mom sucks at sticking with things she's planning, I'm guessing she'll stick with this just to see me squirm. eek This is one of those rites of passage I've been wanting to take for quite a while though, and I'm guessing a monk with some bamboo will make it more meaningful. Unless I chicken out ninja
Tomorrow to the zoo, then hiking up a mountain to see a beautiful statue of Buddha carved into a cliff face on Saturday. Perfect for Buddha's (Korean) birthday!

I'm getting two general college credits for a class on LARPing. I make a character, improvise actions/speech, whack people with boffer weapons, blog about it, and get college credit. Awesome. heart
Oh! I also tried slacklining for the first time today. It's hard, but also awesome. 3nodding

Awesome. heart You mean to say, I could have gotten credit for s**t I already do? I WANT TO GO TO YOUR SCHOOL. You think it could count as a liberal arts math credit? Because we've got a shitton of foam to be made into weapons in our living room, and davit has no motivation to do anything with them. Maybe a math credit will help.
