well, apparently my car needs more than coolant. SINCE IT BROKE DOWN ON THE BUSIEST STREET ON MY WAY TO WORK THIS MORNING.

I seriously can't catch a break. This semester sucks. I'm going to have a breakdown in the corner now.

Did you get the CD to go with it?
There's a CD? Why am I the last to know these things? crying

Haunted, though some of her fans note that there are also references in Hello.

I went to a convention and sold my weird and creepy art to anime fans. Needless to say not much of it sold because anime fans of the youthful variety in this area don't seem to appreciate the freaky confines of my mind that much.

Oh well. I still made a profit.

That's too bad. Which convention was it if I might ask? I have a number of friends that have sold art at the artists section at AX last year. I'd like to see some of your art!

So, maybe it's just spring getting my hackles up again, but I've got that ominous knot in the stomach again, and I'm not getting any younger...
So, I'm going to be taking on some students.
Mostly for swordsmanship and the like.
I'm not sure why... maybe this is me hitting that age where my reptile mind realizes I aught have children to be teaching, but don't, so is giving me urges to fill the same absence.
Regardless, I feel an increasing desire for legacy of late...
It doesn't really make much sense, not even me mentioning it, but, well, there you have it.

That's so cool that you teach swordsmanship. To be honest I always wanted to take classes surprised .

I couldn't say I'd relate on the legacy thing. I never really wanted children myself, but if I did I'd have to adopt. I used to think about it, and I guess my family is kind of upset that I'm no longer capable of passing on the last names. Maybe some day I'll regret not wanting kids in my younger years? At any rate I'm sorry to hear that :

Beware, many classes are what are sometimes called McDojos.
also, Kendo is no way at all to wield a Schiavona. The sword, most martial arts in point of fact, tends to be diversified. What works in one style, with one toll, is generally not universal, other than keeping one's body, mind, and spirit in good shape.

Oh, don't worry over it.
I have no desire for children. My lineage is cursed, and it is best that it dies with me. Unless I can redeem my family name, I would not wish to pass it either, the recent generations have caused more than a little damage to our proud clan.
Now, my reptile mind, po soul, id, whatever you want to call it, well he has other ideas.
This is sorta our compromise I guess. idea wink

I know enough about swordwork to know that actually. I'm uncertain as to what kind I want to take really, fencing seems to be the most common as far as what's available, and I might have an easier time with lighter weapons. It's kinda on the "ahh maybe someday" list for me.

As for the rest... I know how that can be. ninja

If you can, seek out ARMA, they are pretty good for actual fencing, rather than competition fencing, which will get you killed in an actual fight. wink
If you are ever in California, look me up, I'll give the first lesson for free, so long as you will promise never to take up arms against the defenseless. 3nodding

Turning 20 is a strange and in-between business.

A year too young for (legal) alcohol and adulthood, and two years too old to be deemed a minor/kid. Good-bye teenage years, you were very informative and full of self-finding experiences... too bad I still have a bit of the angst hanging around though. sweatdrop

And call me old-fashioned, but home-made cake, (though this tasted more like a sweet bread) that my boyfriend's mother makes is the most delicious cake ever. I must have that recipe. 4laugh Sorry store bought Red Velvet cake, but the title has been stripped from you, though you're still the honorable mention.
