So if I'm quiet this weekend, forgive me. I'm floating about, but I'm really down in the dumps for some reason, I need to think through this depression.

Aw... *sends electronic hug*

Anything I can do to help?

Not sure. For now, I'll just keep an eye on the guild at large and think about how I'm going to write my new short story.

Fair enough. Just to let you know, the offer is still there if you need it.

Thank you. Unfortunately for me, my bouts with mild depression don't seem to have a solid cause, so I usually need to meditate on them for long periods before I even realize what's bothering me.

Then I go through the breakdown and rebuilding process in relatively quick order.

random rant

I HATE CHAPPED LIPS

I just yawned and split mine. ow.

another random rant

I hate church. I was brought up going to it and I don't want to anymore. I want to stay home. I am TIRED and cranky while there. And I don't trust anyone.

last random rant: why does gravity seem to work twice as well in my room than anywhere else in the entire world?

That's funny because I thought gravity was working overtime in my bedroom. xd *looks about her bedroom* Sheesh, I've really gotta clean this place up. sweatdrop

Well.... at least I'm not the only one. I'm getting tired of this though. Every time I try to do something constructive with my room things go flying and I have even MORE of a mess

No worries, the Guild is not disbanding. I'm sorry if anyone was upset by the conflict last week, and I realize I was not the most neutral of parties. Captains and moderators still have their own biases and preferences-- even though we try to be as neutral and behind the scenes as possible. Hopefully by promoting a new mod we will have a little more balance until Hank returns from the land of "Busy".

If the guild is going through a lull feel free to make some sort of random new thread or revive an old thread. biggrin With only 20 members we're still pretty active. And as of next week I will be finished with one class and will have a few weeks before the start of the next- meaning I will be fishing for great new people! heart

Fox- I hope you feel better soon, if you need to vent, just pm me. You've got a lot going on and it's natural to feel the emotional effects.

RD- congrats to your little brother/sister.

Harmony- I use liquid blistex for badly chapped lips, it's easier than trying to press a hard wax stick against my lips. As for church, I find that sometimes it's good to try attending church at a different location if possible. That's not even to say changing denomination- but within every faith/denomination there are some houses of worship that are lack luster. Sometimes it helps recharge your spirits to find the place you enjoy going to worship.

As for Gravity and bedrooms. -Plays the Terminator theme song, puts on a pair of shades, and loads up a nail gun- I have my solution, nail it to the wall of my apartment. Hasta La Vista, Deposit.

Why do some people have such a hard time using their turn signals when they switch lanes?!

I swear, if I didn't have lightning reflexes from years of sitting on my a** playing video games, I'd probably have been killed by some ignorant driver a long time ago.

Also, the Orioles are killing me this season. They had the Yankees pretty much beat yesterday and then blew their lead. Baseball is going to drive me to start drinking.

Headhunter, I completely agree with you on the the blinker issue. 3nodding People around here are TERRIBLE with forgetting to use the blinker or forgetting they have it on. My "favorite" examples, are what recently happened to me while in the car with Steven. The guy slowed down and then put his blinker on. Steven said, "no, you put your blinker on and then slow down." The other one involved a person who didn't know they still had their blinker on and kept driving until they reached their left turn lane, but not before several cars (including ours) kept their distance so as not to supposedly run into them or get hurt. xd Needless to say this was a senior citizen driver (not that, that makes it okay to do this). sweatdrop

I wouldn't mind the not using the blinker, if they switched lanes at a more reasonable pace. . . people in Delaware won't use their turn signals and then JERK into the next lane. . . -_-

As to the Orioles, now you know what it felt like when I was at an Orioles/Angels game a few years back and the angels nearly tossed a first inning 9-0 to the dogs. They won. . . barely.

Thanks! I'll pass that along to them! (It's one of each. They're twins.)

That drives me bonkers. You learn to notice a certain drifting of a car when they plan to cut over--- especially when they are matched side by side with your car and don't bother to check mirrors or blind spots. Eeps.

I've finished and submitted my last writing project for the semester so now, hopefully, I can get back into the swing of my own vanity material. Now I just have to decide where to continue.

Vanity material, are you making a wiki page for yourself?
