Good on ya for that one, Dark. Glad you'll be able to see your girlfriend.

On another note: Was anyone else surprised to see that Brendan Frasier isn't dead?

He just kind of disappeared off of the radar for a while. It makes more sense now, having learned that his wife had a child.

He's had at least one film out a year since 1991. Not that many of them were famous anyway.

In other Wall.E related news, I had to go into school today, in our library, we often have movie postcards, at this time, we have a whole stack of Wall.E ones. One of these postcards is a build your own Wall.E, you know the pop out and fold ones. As it happened, I went in on gaming night, but regretabbly had forgotten to bring my case with me. So to make up for my lack of models, I simply folded out 5 Wall.Es and used the counting as rule. It was funny as hell.

Ah...wow...I haven't been paying attention, then. I can only count off four or five.

As for the Wall.E proxies...that's amazing. You receive infinite kudos for that.

Watchmen. Despite previous comments it looks promising. Still a long time out so anything can happen during post production.

Hm. I haven't read Watchmen, but I'm not impressed by this trailer.
The aesthetics are generally quite good, but if in the trailer it can't catch a person's attention past the aesthetics then it generally means there isn't much hope, eh.

Ooo! However.

@ Death Sharpie: Lord God almighty, somebody needs to take away their cameras and their funding.

As far as that trailer for Watchmen...yeah, it would probably help me to be more excited if I knew more about the history/story of the comic.

Best thing would be to read the trade paperback of the Watchmen, it sets you back by $20/eight quid but is well worth the investment as it contains all the chapters along with some extra material that fluffs up the story. Or you can read the synopsis on Wikipedia, but that would spoil things for you. Get the trade paperback and if you like that, then the movie might be awesome. Or not.

I am enjoying what I am seeing right now, especially like how both The Comedian and Rorschach characters are represented: deviating the least from the original source.

But then again, it is still a year out, anything can happen.

surprised Wow! Most of the scenes seem like perfect copies of the pages from which the events are drawn.

I've yet to read it, but I've heard nothing but good things. After watching the trailer for it when watching the Dark Knight (which was absolutely amazing, exceding my expectations) I went home and watched the trailer for Watchmen a couple of times.

I'm enthralled by it, and I'm going to have to go out and get the trade(s) soon. How many are there?

You can get the entire run in a single trade paperback for about $20. The cover is easy to pick out as well:

It is well worth the read, even I liked it and I despise superhero comics to the utmost.
