So I just watched the first 2 episodes of Dr. Who, and I don't get it sweatdrop . Why do so many people love this show? Is there something further on that I need to get to?

People find it endearing. I used to but the shitty writing makes me die inside.

That said, I have high hopes for Moffat! W00t!

I always thought that Doctor Who had endearingly bad writing. Like Army of Darkness or some of those other B movies. It was just so hokey and campy that I found it amusing more often than not.

I'd never take it seriously as a drama or adventure series. Maybe when Moffat jumps in?

That's it then. I have watched 1.5 more episodes and I'm hooked. The writing is hilarious. Now I think I see why people talk about this show so much. My husband refuses to watch it, so I can only watch when he's not home or sleeping ninja . Then again there are some of his favorite shows that I refuse to watch, so it evens out.

Of course, someone on Facebook made a "Justice for Nadia" group, which, even though in this case she was a personal friend, I cannot endorse such group. It just screams vigilantism at me.
