The Indubitable Katie-Kat
So this cold from hell I've had for a week tomorrow is probably not a cold. Turns out, my roommate, whom I presumably caught this illness from, had strep. Not a cold.
And even though I came down with symptoms identical to hers a few days after she did, she didn't say a word.
Now, call me crazy, but if you're sharing a room with someone who gets the same symptoms you have after you've been sick a few days and you go to the doctor and get diagnosed with strep throat, shouldn't you make a point to tell the person you're SHARING A ROOM WITH, "Hey, I've got strep, you may want to visit the doctor"? instead of letting her cough her lungs up for a week and live on cough drops, ibuprofen, and tea, while thinking it's just the cold from hell?

Ouch! >_< Yeah, I'd call it common courtesy to inform your roomie when you have something nasty and contagious. Mine just got back from a trip home and brought the flu with her. She was good enough to tell me, and miserable enough to list all the symptoms.
@Paradox: I hope it goes well! heart heart heart
