Yay, Gaia's Birthday bash is coming up!

I wish I hadn't tossed my old Gaia balloons and Hat items from their 2nd Anniversary.

Anyone else planning on going naked Feb. 18th?

Are people throwing another Nakie day, or is it part of the celebration?

I believe that it's part of the celebration. That is if I read the announcement correctly, I did only skim it though sweatdrop

I feel naked. I left the house without my ring or necklace on! Eek!

I am wearing the most obnoxiously bright green tee shirt, the most obnoxiously bright teal nail polish and the most obnoxiously powder blue scarf I have ever seen today.

I have achieved the Zen of sexy. ^.^

I'm going to feel like that when I start going to work without my pendant. I can wear it with higher collared shirts or sweaters, but with others I can't risk it if I'm going to be working in customer service sweatdrop It's going to feel weird...

I started studying Farsi (Persian language) today with an Iranian-American friend. Learning a new alphabet is hard! gonk

Man kam zabani farsi har meezanam.
Vahktikay man dar naeruyae zamini, man zae-
Er, sorry, that really looks stupid outside of the quasi-arabic script they use now.
Altho I like Parthian far better than Arabic for writing Persian, I do speak it with passing familiarity. 3nodding

I'm afraid I'm still a baby with this language. sweatdrop
I can say "hello" (salam), "goodbye"/"God be with you" (khoda hafaz), and a few simple sentences I've picked up here and there like "I have a friend" (Dust daram) or "I have one potato" (Yeh sib zamini daram). Then there's that one random phrase I picked up from a love song which apparently means "I would die for you, my darling!" (Mimiram barot azizam!). My friend is wisely forcing me to learn the alphabet before teaching me more phrases.

No worries.

Me and seven other grown people got told off like naughty children today. xd

We were sitting on the stage in one of the halls and three guys I know were playing 'Launch yourself at a crash mat and film it'.
Suddenly there was a noise at the door and we all bolted out of the hall. A voice called, 'theres no use running, I saw you all, come back!'. We all walked back to face the music, a rather senior member of staff had caught us.
She shouted that she expected to find the school kids making all the noise, not us; and that we were lucky that she didn't inform someone. She said we should be using our free time to study. >.<
We apologized and she let us off, but it sure was embarassing...and funny!

...and I think those videos will end up on youtube ninja

Ice, ice, and more ice. Living in Arkansas, you don't see much "winter weather" other than the occasional 1-2 inches of snow ...maybe. But when it does happen, people freak and run to the grocery store and stock up like its the end of the world.

So this ice storm made it my first time to really drive in icy road weather. Wasn't bad (thank goodness), the roads were mostly clear with maybe a slushie patch or two. Worst part was driving up the little hill to reach my house, which had ice patches, but besides slipping once, I made it fine. My family (and myself) are really relieved. 3nodding

Every time I think I have my pathways thread set up in the best and most informative fashion...

...I surprise myself with yet even more detail that needs to go in to the thread.

x_x

I'm gonna end up writing a freaking book about Etherism at this rate...
