I'm currently trying to help a "religions change" person who refutes the orthopraxic nature of Wicca. Something about Gardner being dead now, and therefore irrelevant. Also evolution of words makes her use of Karma okay.
I'm really trying to be civil, but I'm about to be threaded on it. sweatdrop

That whole "religions change" thing can't be used to claim that an orthopraxic or closed religion is no longer so unless that change comes from within the closed culture and is accepted by that culture.

Fluffies and solitaries are outside the culture or group. So even if they are evolving, the religion or culture they wish to enter is not or is doing so independently of what they want.
