TeaDidikai scorplett TeaDidikai Mine is in a quart jar on my fridge. Erm.... excuse the ignorance... but what's a quart in European measures? You could brew in a 2L jar too- though that's considerably larger than required. I also have a list of instructions on how to keep it alive, if you decide you want to make it, I can type them up and put them on. Have you ever had a sour dough starter? It's different- but it takes about the same amount of effort.
oooh that'd be nice biggrin

PhantomPhoenix0 maenad nuri Does anyone have any ideas on a way to run a windows version Sims 2 double deluxe on a Mac. Emulators or stuff? Husband-love was being nice and bought me a copy, which is the one game I've wanted to play forever, but didn't notice what version he bought. A little late, but a quick google got me this page. The problem with some of the emulators though, is it might ask you for a Windows CD, which you may not have. The popular Linux app WINE (WINE is not an emulator) aparently has a mac version. Info avaliable here, but you need an Intel Mac I think.
Thank you. I actually ended up giving the game to Romeul as a present. I'll just buy the mac version in a paycheck or two.

There are Mac versions of quite a few recent games, but still not enough. Until now, I didn't realise there even was a Mac edition of Sims 2. Glad I could be of... uhh... future help?

TheDisreputableDog LadyBanhammer Someone gave me the flu for christmas. And no, I don't mean one of those adorable plush microbes from ThinkGeek. The real deal flu. I feel like crap now. And had to raincheck getting together with some friends that I haven't seen in two years. >.< Fun fun. That is sad. I hope you feel better.
It was a twenty four hour bug so I'm pretty much recovered now. Thankfully. ^^
Quote: I love GiantMicrobes though! I gave my roommate a neuron for his birthday last year because we have brain inside jokes, and I gave my girlfriend mono when we first started dating because I actually had real mono but she never got sick.
They are pretty epic cute. I got the HIV plushie for Tay when we were still dating (which resulted in all sorts of hilariously awkward jokes about getting AIDS, you know how Tay is after all).
I bought a white blood cell for Error too which he found pleasing in his own way (white blood cells cannibalize other cells when clearing damaged tissue.) *laughs*
I think I bought a whole set for my family for christmas last year and got the mono one myself.
