Very cute, Robert! I heart it!

I am sooo excited (not quite so nervous any more) about tomorrow morning's interview! I just don't want to get too excited or if I don't make it I'll be totally bummed. 3nodding Anyway, planning to work on my story some time this weekend and possibly get to work on patching some bricks around the house.

Speaking of patching bricks, does anyone have ANY idea how to patch the brick itself?! confused I keep seeing how to chisel out the brick and replace it, but I can't afford to do that which is why I'm just patching them. Any suggestions? neutral

http://www.ehow.com/how_2074609_patch-cracks-brick-walls.html <-------Does this help you, Bakura?

Right, what's been going on with Headhunter lately?

-I think that my computer has been showing her age as of late, so I'm beginning to put a plan together for my next rig. It shall be so mighty that the heavens will tremble.

-I've overcome writer's block and have continued trekking through my various works in progress. I also concocted a new one about a man making a Faustian deal, as I've always been fascinated by those sorts of stories.

-I've generally had a very blah summer this year, but I got to see one of my favorite bands (like, desert island favorite) live for the first time ever this past Monday and it made dealing with the summer thus far's general crapiness oh-so-worth-it.

-Klondike sandwich bars may very well be the greatest thing ever.

Many thanks, I wish you luck with both your book and interview. I know how it feels to have difficulties attempting to find employment when it's much needed.

Well, sad to say but I didn't get the job. Apparently this American Girl is supposed to work from open to close nearly every day! sweatdrop I can't do that!!!! Who can anyway?! They had me fill out this application that was at least 5-6 pages long even though the guy told me that I had been put down for an interview. confused Then I handed the application back and the girl looked at my availability and said, "are these the only times you can work or are these when you thought the store hours are?" I should've answered the latter, but instead I told her that I could work open to close Monday through Friday and preferred those hours for the weekend. FAIL! emo No interview. No job. Next step is to apply, I guess, to Kmart. sweatdrop Why is nothing ever easy any more?!

@Headhunter: That's a start, but the bricks I am talking about have cracks in them; think sidewalk cracks, but these are bricks. I'm guessing I'll just make a thick mixture and pour it on there. Not sure what else to do at the moment.

@Antonia: I'd like to help you move if you were just a wee bit closer. confused Sorry, without a job and funds really tight I can't help much except very close to home and at home.

Story will be worked on probably tonight and tomorrow. Sunday I have a baby shower to go to and am going to see Despicable Me appropriately titled for these past 2 weeks. xp Next weekend I have a bridal shower to attend.

The move is done- for now. We still have to get an apartment after I get a few paychecks under my belt. After that we'll have to move yet again- getting our furniture out of storage.

Despicable Me was THE best movie I have seen this year! Loved it sooo much! Can't wait to get it on DVD when it comes out!

Nothing else to report as of yet.

That was an awesome movie. Had my heart set on watching it since I seen the first preview!

On a slightly more serious note. I do believe I might have discovered my own prime reason why I don't tell a lot of people about being transgendered.(at least mentally anyway.)

What would that be, if you don't mind sharing?

I don't think they'll understand my reasoning and desire to be a woman over being a guy. Probably treat me like a overly girly crossdresser then what it really is. Something about that just rubs me the wrong way.

Ah. Being bi and generally gender neutral from a thought perspective makes me look at situation in a weird light, comparatively. It's really weird when I came to the conclusion that I could be either gender and it wouldn't affect my personality much at all. I don't think that came out right.

It makes perfect sense to me. Probably because I'm a pretty open minded about these types of things. It seems to be a lot like my choice to be bi. I don't really have a sexual preferance between males or females. I don't it's not quite the same as which gender one wants to be, but I think I understand what your saying though.

Basically, I'm male because I was born that way, there's nothing mentally keeping me like that, but nothing really pushing me a way.

Friends joke how much of a 'girl' I am on a regular basis, hell, my estranged wife used to tell me I was the woman in the family. It's just kinda a weird existence.
