Swiftsoul nodded and there was a few seconds of silence. "Hey, I think it's tim ewe go find the leader and tell her what happened." She smiled and got up. "Coming?"

''Yeah...'' Stormpaw stood up ready to go to the leader.  

[Several Octopi]

"Soo... what're we supposed to say?" She laughed. She didn't look yound anymore. She looked old and tired. Very tired.

''We can tell 'em about the fight and Hawkclaw, I guess............'' Stormpaw suggested.  

[Several Octopi]

"Yes, definately about Hawkclaw... I don't think it's a good idea to tell then that I broke his leg, opened his stomach and ripped half his ear off, but you can if you want." she laughed again.

''I'll leave it to you to tell that part of the story.'' Stormpaw laughed with her.

"huh? oh yeah it is" icekit pounces on a snowflake falling from the sky

Swiftsoul smiled as she looked around her. "It started snowing again." she abserved.

''Yeah....I love the snow......'' Stormpaw looked up at the sky, her eyes in a daze as if looking into a earlyer time.

"It reminds me of my mother." Swiftsoul whispered, following Stormpaws gaze.

''Yeah...'' Stormpaws eyes were still in a gaze.

~Flash Back~

Stormkit ran out of the nursery. She krept behind a tall black cat. The snow was falling gentaly. Stormkit bit down on his tail. ''Hey.'' He said looking back.
''Hey!'' She squecked as he picked her up from the scruff of her neck, ''Dad...Put me down...'' She squirmed. ''Bet you can't catch me!'' She said running behind her foster mother.

Stormpaw continued towards the leaders den.

Close to the camp, Firpaw stopped. "Don't they even make noise in the camp?" It was so quiet. The snow covered the ground, muffling her footsteps. "Sleetpaw, I don't think we should both go in there. Even if nothing's wrong, we cant just drag a rogue straight into camp, can we?"

"Wait." Swiftsoul mewed, twitching her ear. "There's someone outside of camp. I could hear them."she whispered.
