Nightcloud layed motionless on the ground. she finally woke up and tried to get to her paws. she limped over to Fireclouds body and layed next to her.

Sunpaw was busy clawing the nearest fox until it ran off, yelping. Panting hard, he saw the other fox as it rushed out of camp, then he looked around to make sure Moonpaw and Riverkit were still okay. They were, but Firecloud was not moving. Blackpaw was at Moonpaw's side.

"Is..." Sunpaw's words trailed off as he neared Moonpaw, Blackpaw and Riverkit. Moonpaw looked at him with her sightless eyes, full of wet tears.

"Oh, Moonpaw, I'm so sorry." he mewed softly.
(Heh heh heh stealing your girl, Blackpaw! xd )

"Firecloud?" Riverkit cried weakly. Firecloud had been her very best friend, the only one who she had really trusted, other than Moonpaw and Sunpaw. She was like my sister Riverkit thought, trying hard not to cry. "No..." she breathed, her eyes clouding in anger. "Those foxes....." she said with malice, "Will pay. When I am a warrior I will track them down. There WILL be revenge." Sunpaw turned around, surprised to hear Riverkit utter such hateful words. She turned to him. "Will you help me?... She was the only family I ever had."

all of the foxes fleed from camp. Nightcloud got to her paws grooming Fireclouds ruffled fur. "she is with StarClan now. she will be welcome there." she meowed sadily.

(GRR!!! TOM FIGHT!!! *takles Sunpaw*)

"Sunpaw," Moonpaw looked up. "Why her?" She set her head on her paws, Blackpaw's fur touching her. She sighed, breathing in his sweet scent, it helped soother her a bit more. She closed her eyes, hoping to slip into a dreamless sleep. (She's having mix feelings...only time will tell who she will pick! ^.^)

"Hello, Moonpaw." A sweet, but sad voice said behind Moonpaw. She turned and looked up at a grey she-cat, her pelt sparkled. She breathed in the she-cat's scent, it was Firecloud. "Firecloud?"

"Yes," Firecloud nodded. "Do not worry, little one. My time has come, but yours will come much, much later in your life. Be safe, and keep Riverkit safe."

Blackpaw watched Moonpaw sleep, she looked peaceful, happy. He curled up closer to her, breathing in her scent.

Riverkit saw a hazy outline of a cat speak to Moonpaw. "F-firecloud?" she sniffled, padding towards it. "Please don't go. You are my only family I ever had!" The Starclan cat turned around. "You can see me?" she asked. "I know you have to go, but will you visit me and Moonpaw in our dreams? It would be a big comfort." Riverkit mumbled miserably. Firecloud mrowwed with laughter and licked Riverkit on the head. "I'll see what I can do. Goodbye!" "Noooo! Firecloud please don't leave!" Riverkit cried, but it was to late. Miserably, she padded back over to Sunpaw.

A slight breeze was the the only movement Moonpaw knew of, Blackpaw was curlded up besided her, giving her comfort. "Blackpaw," Moonpaw whispered.

"Yeah?" He mumbled, but Moonpaw new he was looking at her.

"You, Sunpaw and Riverkit are my only family now." She lay her head on his back.

"No, your clan is your family." Blackpaw licked the top of her head.

(I'm going to make Blackpaw and Moonpaw warriors...Sunpaw...your going to be a warrior too! and Riverkit you shall be Riverpaw! but this will be after Firecloud's vigil(?))

Sunpaw chose his words carefully before replying. "Riverkit, I dont think that would be what Firecloud would want. We should stay here and honor her before she is buried." Sunpaw pressed his muzzle to Riverkit's. "It's okay, I know what she meant to you. I felt the same way when my mother was taken from me." He twined his tail with hers. His voice barely a whisper, he mewed, "I'll take care of you."

(AWW SO CUTE!!!! On a side note, Sunpaw isnt that much bigger than Riverkit is...even though he's about to be a warrior. It's like, Hollypaw and Birchfall. Sweet love~ heart )

*next day*

Moonpaw woke to a paw pressing her side, she opened her eyes and smelled Blackpaw. "They're going to take Firecloud's body." Blackpaw said and helped Moonpaw up. Swiftpelt, Tinyclaw, and Wildbelly(thats my warrior name from Warriors.com) picked up Firecloud and walked out of the camp.

*Before the moon rises*
Cursedstar yowled, "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here beneath the PebbleStone." Moonpaw and Blackpaw walked out of the apprentices den together, Sunpaw behind them. (Blaa Blaa Blaa)

The clan began to yell they're new names, "Sunshadow! Moonlight! Blackmoon!"

Riverkit inched out of the Nursery. I can catch my own prey she thought happily, sitting in the back of the crowd. "Sunshadow!!!Moonlight!!Blackmoon!" she cried. As the clan cries died down, she thought about how she would be an apprentice soon. Maybe I can be Sunshadow's she though, quietly mrrowing with laughter. Her eyes gleamed as she trotted over to Moonlight. "Congratulations! Hey, you have to tell me all about the warriors den, ok?" Moonlight purred, walking past her. "Maybe later, Riverkit." "Ok!!!" Riverkit replied. She hopefully looked up at her leader, silently hoping s/he would make her an apprentice next.
