[Storm_Fighter_Alchemist]

*Zero shrugged and kept walking. suddenly, he stopped.* H-hey... did you guys say something?

*Ethiriel shook her head.* No, not just now. Why?

*Zero looked around nervously.* Because... I could have sworn... I just heard growling...  

[Grieving_wolf_daemon]

Shadow stopped dead in his tracks and turned around. He pulled out his black-bladed katana and started to growl. His eyes turned a dark crimson red and his fangs came out. "Zero... get her out of here..." he said to him not caring about any arguements.  

[Storm_Fighter_Alchemist]

*Zero started to move towards Ethiriel.* Come, milady. Let's get out of here.

*Ethiriel shook her head, moving away from Zero.* I can hold my own against anything. *She put her hand on the ground and pulled up, drawing a blue crystal staff from the ground. She struck a fighting pose, a smirk on her face.* Whatever it is... bring it on.

*Zero stared at Ethiriel. finally, he sighed.* Well, you heard her, Shadow. She's not going anywhere. *Shadow pulled from his pack a scythe like blade attached to a chain. He wrapped the chain around his hand and struck a pose.* And neither am I. I won't abandon you, my friend.

Shadow rolled his eyes and looked at them. He sighed and jumped down in the trees disappearing from their view. He went after the wolf-demon and started fighting it before they got there. It clawed at his shoulder and he stabbed its shoulder in return. They fought like this for a while.

*Zero cursed and jumped down from the trees, following the sound of fighting to where the demon and Shadow were.* Allow me to help! *Zero swung his blade, the scythe lodging in the demon's back. Flicking his wrist, he yanked the blade back. The demon snarled and spun to him, lunging at him and sank its fangs into his shoulder. zero cursed and slashed at the demon, dislodging him. He staggered back, holding his shoulder and cringing in pain.*

*Ethiriel raced on the scene, waving her staff.* Here we go! Ice Javelin! *From her staff came a blade of ice. It shot at the demon, freezing his feet solid.*

Shadow walked over to Zero and picked him up and jumped through the trees "Forgive me... Eithriel..." he said and sat Zero down "stay here...." he said giving him demanding eyes. He then jumped back down and started to help Eithriel again.

*Zero lay up in the tree, his body beginning to spasm. He could feel the demon blood pulsing through his veins, morphing his own DNA.* H-hurry... S-shadow... E-Ethiriel... *He managed to gasp, his body riving in pain.*

*Ethiriel heard her 'elder brother' and raised her staff again.* This should help bring this bad boy down! Ice Field! *At her words, the demon was encased in ice.* finish him off, Shadow!

Shadow looked up at the demon and his eyes glowed darker red now. His fangs were sharper and he moved his sword up to ready position. The demon looked at him in the eyes "I"m not afraid to die...." the demon said and reached out and scratched Shadow once more before Shadow stabbed him and his heart stopped from the immediate effect of the poison on his blade.

*Ethiriel put her staff to one side, jumping up into the tree where Zero was. She took one look at her brother and an icy chill gripped at her heart.* Shadow, get up here quick. I don't know what that demon did to him, but I don't like what i'm seeing.

*Zero's body had started to shake harder now and it felt like parts of his body were on fire, others in ice. He looked up at Ethiriel with half lidded eyes. Unknown to him, they were flickering from dark grey to red.*

Shadow got up there holding his own shoulder. He looked at Zero and hissed lowly. He walked up to him and pushed her gently out of the way. He bent Zero's neck sideways and his fangs enlongated and he started to suck the venom out of Zero's body. Shadow continued til he knew that all the venom or more than enough of it was out.

*Zero calmed down for a second before his body spasmed very violently one last time. His body suddenly began to glow red and morph. As the glow subsided, Zero was revealed to have changed drastically. His body was now more muscular, and his half lidded eyes were blood ruby red. his ears had traveled to the top of his head and become brown and wolf like, the same color as his now waist length hair, which was tied back in a ponytail. protruding from his backside was a furry, wolf like tail.*

*Ethiriel took one look at Zero and jumped back.* What the-- yaiii!! *she shrieked, falling out of the tree. She was back up in an instant.* Shadow, what happened?!

Shadow glowered down at Zero "He's become one of them.... one of us.... a wolf demon...." he said and stood up and jumped to another tree holding his shoulder "thats all I could do to help him... now he's on his own...." he said and slowly started to disappear from them. (( they'll meet up again ))

*Ethiriel started to move after Shadow.* Shadow, wait! I don't know how-- *too late. Shadow was gone. She turned back to Zero, who was beginning to stir fully.* Zero, are you okay?

*Zero stirred and opened his eyes fully.* Ugh... E-Ethiriel? *he sat up and looked around.* Where's Shadow, and -- *He looked down and felt the top of his head. His hand hit his ears, and his eyes widened.* WHAT THE BLOODY HELL?!

Shadow had disappeared from their sight but was watching them quietly in a tree above them. He masked his aura, and miasma(which if I"m correct may be the same thing but I put it there just in case) and chuckled. ~ Welcome to the world of being a wolf demon.... hopefully you won't die like most newborns do. Or disobey the rules like the newbies do as well... otherwise you'll get killed." he laughed then hoped down equal level and stood there changing his appearence so only Zero could see him. ~ Sh... I don't want her to know I'm here right now... she needs to figure out help to help you... it'll be a challenge for her." he said and chuckled agian his voice slightly echoing. (( is going on ride... don't know when I'll be back ))

*Zero stared at Shadow, his red eyes glittering.* >Sh-Shadow... wh-what's happened to me? What have I become...?<

*Ethiriel put her head in her hands.* Damn you, Shadow! I don't know what to do! I can't do anything if I don't know what I'm dealing with!
