"Oh, I won't kill you. Did you know there are at least ten spots in your throat and stomach where I can put big gaping holes and you still won't die? Interesting, isn't it? Call your cats off, or maybe I'll think about taking one of those eyes out of your head right now. Tell them all to go away, at least for now, or I will, by starclan I will kill each and every one of them. Even your little puppies." She looked so young right now, so full of energy. Nothing like the old tired cat she was minutes before.

''Fine.'' Hawkclaw called them off. ''Let me go and I'll tell you why I did this.''

"Not so fast, little kitty. We have to make sure you don't run away." She called stormpaw over. "Get a few warriors over here to surround him. If you try to get away," She added to Hawkclaw, "I'll brake your other legs, too. Let's see you try to get away then." Swiftsoul was acting... Scary O.O

Stormpaw limped over with 2 warriors following her.


Hawkclaw stood up. ''The reason I did this was becau-'' He jumped over them with his good legs. ''Retret!'' He yelled running in to the forset. THe other cats broke free from there battles and followed him.

swiftsoul laughed as she bolted after him, and at the first chance she bit down on his tail and wrenched it sideways, slamming him onto the ground. "I can cause a lot of pain, kittty! Don't make this more painful than it has to be!"

Hawkclaw looked around at the cats passing by him. He looked at her, ''Go on and kill me...my clan new clan mates will advenge me, i'm sure you couldn't take all of them at once.'' Right when he was done talking a Huge husky jumped over a log. He grabed him in the scruff like a kit and ran away through the river and into the thiker part of the woods.

"Does that cat never listen? I told him I wouldn't kill him." She laughed. "I hope this isn't the last time I see you!" She yelled after him. She just sat staring at the dog that was carrying him away.

Stormpaw layed down out of breath. She looked over at SwiftSoul. She stagered up and limped over to her, ''Hey...''

She flicke dher ear to show she was listening, but kept watching as the dog faded out of veiw. "Yes, Stormpaw?

Stormpaw started to tear up. ''I-I never thought he could have d-done anything like this......I k-knew him sence I was a k-kit.....''

"You couldn't've known. Don't beat yourself up about it. He was a sick, sick cat. We'll get him, don't worry." Finally she tore her eyes away from where she had been staring off in space and smiled down at Stormpaw. "You just have o be strong like today. Now that I think about it, wow! You fought like a warrior!We'll have to speak with the leader."

Stormpaw couldn't hold the tears back any longer. She was so tired of pretending that she was happy and that everything was perfect. She looked up at Swiftsoul, ''Really?'' She sniff.

Swiftsoul didn't stop her from crying. Let her cry, she hought, she needs it. "Really." She nodded. "If you hadn't fought like a warrior, you would be dead. We wouldn't wan that, now would we?"

''I guess not.'' Stormpaw looked down again. She felt all alone. She had no mother, no father, and now her mentor betraed her. she didn't know who to trust.

"It's going to be okay." Swiftsoul mewed. She didn't know what was going on inStormpaws head, but she knew she needed someone, and that was the least she coiuld do fo rthe poor little apprentance. She padded closer and wrapped her tail around the little grl. "It's all going to be okay."
