Could always blame the end of January-February-ness. It makes everything less happy.

That message is for anyone between those ages Hypno! razz Sorry.

He-he, that's ok. No biggie...
It's good to know that you no longer have the stitches on yer foot Mel. It's been quite some time since the 23th. I bet yer feeling better now, yes?
Ha-ha, like Jasta said, I'm sure it's not cuz of you. I also left for quite a while and things picked up a lot in this thread but not in the others. mrgreen

Nice going there Fauxlorne! Pretty cool emoticon or Gif or whatever it is. mrgreen
Gee, that's something! It sounds quite curious. It reminds me of a mission on FFTA that deals with a character having a third eye. I'm glad we're both pretty similar when it comes to being silly or wacky. 3nodding It's probably one of the reasons I like you. wink

Wow! What a huge emoticon holding a heart! eek

Yay! Fauxlorne brings love!

Love is... well... love!

As is hot chocolate, though microwaving a metal spoon is not.

Good one Gornwen! I think microwaving a metal spoon just leaves you with a broken microwave oven, does it not? rolleyes

As for me and my updates, I didn't get to go to my temp job (I didn't get the call) so I'm able to check the guild today.

And since I fainted at work again yesterday, I'm home too. Wheee...

The doctor thinks he knows the reason tho. Hopefully this will stop soon.

Yeah, me too. It is the same thing that caused me to faint and mess up my car back on Hallowe'en, too.

FAINTED?!!!
PostPosted: Thu Jan 31, 2008 11:49 am
Yeah, back on Hallowe'en I blacked out at the wheel of my car on the way to work. Passed right out, and the car went off the road (not very far, thank God!). I side-swiped a tree and banged up onto a garden retaining wall--and all I got was a bump on the head. They took me to hospital; I stayed in for a few days, had all kinds of tests, and they found... nothing. *rolls eyes*

So, it happened again at the office yesterday. This time I saw a doctor who actually thinks he knows what happened--and what to do to fix it. *crosses fingers*

gonk I have Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome (WPW) - basically it's an irregular heartbeat.
- My doctor said not to worry about it - unless I started to pass out. Serioulsy - that's all they told me. Thankfully I haven't passed out - but I know the treatment ... electroshock to get my heart to behave... ! I really hope I don't start passing out........ And I really hope that's not what you have!!!!!!

Yikes, Jasta, that is no fun, especially when you add in the fact that the doctors haven't a clue (or hadn't a clue) what was going on. Never fun to be in the dark like that.

Yes, it's the not-knowing part that is scary. But when the car accident happened, the trauma made my short-term memory purge, so I couldn't recall what the onset felt like. Wednesday, I was safe in my office--so there was no short-term memory loss. I knew something was about to happen--so no matter where I am, if I feel like that I will stop what I'm doing and let the thing happen. After it's over I feel shaky for a bit, then I'm fine--so we shall have to see what the doctors find out. Fauxlorne, I hope your condition improves without the shock stuff!

I had thought as much... I hope it doesn't take long for yer doc to figure out what's going on. 3nodding

Gee Fauxlorne, that's something rather strange. I've never heard of that condition till now. Is it something tough to live with? I wish you the best! heart

I've been looking into furthering my education. I'm looking at doing writing courses to develop my writing career earlier. I just need funding in order to pay for it all as there are several courses I would like to do.

One of them is specifically designed for novel writing. Mmmhmm...
