I got about 2 levels fighting, then just parked myself in the human base to start healing.
I'm looking forward to seeing the open beta. 3nodding

SpaceTerminal Destiny There are too many Dark Elves not not enough humans. My two mules are those respectively and they can't gain experience or items....>.> Who's excited for zOMG now? Especially the wave system of getting people in by join date? i'm not doing too bad as a human. it's just a pain to keep fighting only to get the pop up that you're dead...why can't that happen before you hit "do it!"?

what really gets me though is the fact that when i attempt to retaliate, the dem pepples are already gone!
hmm, maybe it's only my Taurean nature though that has me in the same battleground the entire time...

Bazooka at Lev 8 methinks. Once you have the 10 energy point defense enhancer, it gives 6xp a shot, so use it and you can finish human time quickly.
I love the Zombie powers. I can be really friendly. heart

so at my grove's annual meeting, we changed our hearth culture from pan Celtic to pan Indo European. what that effectively means is that instead of someone expecting most of our rites to be conducted using exclusively Welsh, Irish, Gaulish, etc., pantheon/cosmology, we might just as easily use Hellenic, Slavic, Vedic, etc.
someone then broached the topic about why the continuation of the word "druid", since we'd be deviating from the hearth culture of where that word was created (it wasn't me). some got into a good discussion, especially those of us also in our Heathen subgroup, saying that we haven't identified as the former for quite some time. needless to say, many walked away questioning whether ADF as a whole should continue to use the title.
blaugh
and i had little to no interaction, other than to continually assert that they were mistranslating ADF to "our own druidry".
ah well, step one...doubt and making people consider other options for labels. check!

Hellenic and Slavic gods for one, do not like to be "used." They are not toys. Hellenic gods have very specific purity requirements - not living up to them opens you up for a world of trouble (you would never enter into sacred space in a way that would profane the gods, would you?). From what I can tell of Slavic gods is that they have a very... tribal? mindset. They don't seem very friendly to non-Slavs. The Slavic mindset is very much one of caution toward the world and the spirits and gods that are a part of it. They also seem very much tied to place, at least as far as West Slavs are concerned. I'm definitely not an authority though.
