If anyone is aged between 16-25, has cash, and needs an adventure, book up on SSN324 with the Tall Ships Youth Trust - http://www.tallships.org
It begins and ends in Barbados.

I'm going!

Fauxlorne:

Thanks! I thinkI wouldn't have come up with it if it wasn't because I saw the words Gandalf and greyhound in the same thread. mrgreen
So kiss thief, am I? Well what did you expect? I had to get you back for stealing my cake, right? And what is sweeter than a cake after all?

That's cool! I don't remember seeing or meeting anyone famous so far. At least my mom met Shakira (Spanish singer). So we're in the same boat. rolleyes

Mel:

Gee, that's too bad. I'm older than that and I don't have much cash. sad

It was bad for the first 3-4 days. I've been walking almost normally since - obviously a lot better now than even after the pain settled. It only really hurts if I knock it now or add a bit too much weight.

I'll finally be rid of this damned huge bandage!

Ouch, this sounds like SO much fun... NOT...

I'm not looking forward to doing this, but I'm SO tired of all the pain from the doggone bunions.... sad

You're an inspiration to me. I know I can do this! smile May you feel much better very soon!

Random question, Mel, how do you deal with stitches getting taken out?

My sister almost fainted when the doctors removed hers (which I found terribly funny seeing as she likes gory movies and is a rather violent child.)

the 701st - post in this thread....
- I suppose I should say something to commemorate this event.

*steps up to the podium* - *sniffles a bit* -
There isn't an emoticon to express the way I feel right now.... but I'll try...

How was that?

And just to say something mildly relevant ~ Not to scare you or anything... I realize some people aren't as wacky as I am ~ but when had my stitches removed - ((I had a mole in the center / back of my neck.)) - The doctor had his students do it... It left an awesome scar that looked like an eye... with lashes... - my mom wanted to sue - but I thought / and think it looks really cool... and it gives me a third eye! You can't even really see all that well - it's on the back of my neck and since when do you go up to people and tell them.... "Excuse me. Turn around so I stare at the back of your neck please... *oh* - if - if you could hold your hair up ~ Thanks!"

YAY! Celebrations!

...anyways...

A third eye would be a wicked fun scar to have. I'm rather envious. All of mine are very much lines and cut marks (I had a habit of accidentally carving into my hand when doing wood carvings).

This is strange.
After I scarper for much of the time, the activity somehow picks up.

Is it me or something that drives everyone away?
