"Well, well, well, look who's quite the medicine cat." Swiftsoul mewed absently when Sprintsong padded by.

Sleetpaw had stopped, allowing Firepaw to catch up. "Finally, i thought that i would have to drag this all the way to camp!"

Stormpaw dryed her eyes. ''What do you think the cloud of blood means?'' She looked up at her. Stormpaw blue eyes seemed even bluer than before.

"Let's see... If we think in literal terms, there is a red moon we call the harvest moon. It turns almost the whole sky red. But if we think in other terms, perhaps they mean a puddle of blood shaped like a cloud? We'll have to keep our eyes out. But for now, let's keep this our little secret, okay?" She smiled and padded off to help Sprintsong. "Duty calls," she muttered.

''Okay...'' She padded out of the den and looked around. She saw Hawkclaw eating a rabbit and padded over to him. ''Hello....''


He turned around so he couldn't see Stormpaw. Stormpaw wacked his tail playfuly, ''Why are you all grumpy?''

Hawkclaw stood up and walked out of the camp.

Swiftsouls head popped out of her den. "Hawkclaw! No one's leaving the camp right now." She fixed him in a hard stare. "No one. If there's anyone out there, I want oyu to pass on that information when they return. Understood?"

Hawclaw waited untill no one was looking and he snuck out of the camp.

Hawkclaw padded to a clearing. ''Hello....you there?'' He asked. Two figures stepped out of a bush.

''Did you bring anyone?'' They asked.

''No, i didn't.''

''Is the plan ready?'' They asked in unison.

''Yes it's set for tonight.''

''Good.'' They turned there backs and in the distance there were hundrands of eyes watching.

Hawkclaw came back ffrom the ''meeting'' wearing a smirk on his face he padded over to the warriors make shift den to get extra sleep.

Swiftsoul narrowed her eyes. She had come to sit outside her den after she had finished helping Sprintsong. "I don't like that cat..." She mumbled. "Stormpaw, come here please?"

''Yes what is it.'' Stormpaw said as if everyday was full of peace and happieness for her. but of course no one knew she was acting.

Swiftsoul smiled at the little apprentances bravery. "HAve you noticed anything weird about Hawkclaw? I don't like the way he's acting." Her eyes flickered to the makeshift warriors den where he was sleeping.

''A little bit...Hes been sneeking out at night sometimes and he doesn't talk to me a lot anymore......'' Stormpaw meowed.  

[Several Octopi]

"That's it... He's up to something. A grown cat doesn't sneak out of camp in the middle of the night for nothing. Where's the leader? That cat is not alloed out of this camp, especially since we're worrying about a prophecy. One night, he might leave and never come back. I never trusted that cat." Her eyes were filled with fury and... Fear. What was going to happen? She thought. And what if something happened to me? I have no one to take my place!

Stormpaw followed her. ''But....what if its to late what if he made a plan already with other cats........We can't stop the plan if it already made.'' She looked up at the sun setting.

"Not if Hawclaw is involved. He'd be the leader... The almighty. They may still try to do whatever it was they were planning, but it won't work nearly as well as it would have if they had Hawkclaw. Is there a warrior here? Bring one to me."
