Elspeth Telrunya very dissappointed I did not want obama to win sad sorry gem but I don't agree with you on this razz I like bush and I liked mccain/palin
It's okay Els, everyone entitled to their own opinion smile heart heart heart Not to mention we're all friends here, and I wouldn't even dream of mentioning politics at all if it weren't for the fact that I feel well acquainted with the majority of you, and am thereby confident we will not only continue to be respectful of one another, but will remain friends. <3
To be honest I wasn't particular who won this election, I knew nothing about either of the candidates except that the palin lady took Polar Bears off the endangered species list, so we can pretty much expect our kids' kids won't ever see a live one as they will no longer be in existence. I am disgusted most of the time by the way people treat animals, and life, in general, so this angered me quite a bit. (I'm not at PETA level or anything) I also expected that in a greater position of power as vice president she would continue such despicable acts, hence my reasoning behind not wanting her to be part of the winning party.
I must profess as well, that America's reputation was not in the best shape with a fair portion of the world, but I doubt it will remain so poorly thought of now that America has proven itself to have progressed enough to elect an individual who is not caucasian to lead the country. It certainly won't hurt matters, anyway.
As for bush, I honest to God think he was far too simple in the head (aka, he was about as smart as a toddler) to be running the country.
AND, America has lost more soldiers in the Iraqi invasion than the number of people they lost in the entire 9-11 incident, enough said.
xd There we go, my opinionated side has spoken! I shall now take it off to bed, as it is up far past it's bedtime. rofl
EDIT: Oh, and if I were an American, I totally would have written your name on the ballot and selected it as my candidate of choice, Xander. rofl rofl rofl rofl
