Ouch Jasta, that's just awful news! I tell ya, sometimes it stinks to be human. If only we were more like cyborgs and not have to deal with stuff like that. But maybe if we WERE cyborgs, we would have other troubles, he-he. mrgreen

Oh, I know--when I had carpal tunnel they told me not to get both done at once either, because you still need one hand to do important stuff. Trust me, you have NO idea how dependent you are on your hands until they are heavily padded and bandaged so you look like you stuck the hand through a snowball... *grins*

My orthopedic surgeon told me he would NOT do both at once. So I hear you!

The baby isn't born yet - six or so more weeks. It's my youngest sister. She's 21, (just so you know she's not a teenager.) She was really afraid to tell us, (very large family,) for some reason. She has issues! BUT ~ Now we know and I'm so excited! I want to go buy her a really awesome baby book - and those baby t-shirts with old school rock band logos... and little baby Converse! As soon as I know if it's a girl or boy I'll let you know! I thought she was going today to find out but no one has called me yet!
- - She's in Florida. I live in Illinois. She's the baby of five children - and the first one to get married and now have a baby! We always knew she'd be the first!

Ouch, Mel. Hope that you are doing better. Surgery is never fun.

Fauxlorne, that is crazy exciting. Family expanding is always much much fun, especially nieces/nephews who you can spoil rotten!

I'm so sorry your kitty passed away! He'll be waiting for you when you cross the Rainbow Bridge someday... but in the meantime I know it hurts to lose a beloved pet. {{{hugs!}}}

Hey Gornwen! I'm sad to know about yer kitty. It reminds me about my Princes who died last year (Feb 26th). It seems both of them were from the same zodiac sign, weren't they? My princy was born on the 4th of July and now it's almost a year since she had to be put to sleep cuz of cancer. Oh well... I don't wanna bring anybody down so I'll shut up about this. sweatdrop

To answer MsRose, things have been picking up for me, not a lot but, somehow. I had a lousy day yesterday and the day before that as well but today seems pretty good so far. I've been bummed out ever since my GBA cable stopped working. rolleyes
I just hope I can buy a new one as soon as I go to the mall after the 20th. 3nodding

Jasta - The image of the Rainbow Bridge is most happy. And, aye, it does hurt much. My sister and I had an hour + conversation/cry fest the day he died. I was already back at school, but thankfully she was home. She was Velcro's person, so, aye...

Hypnocrown - Aw! Another July 4th Kitty! That has to be real hard, having your kitty put to sleep. I'll probably be the same way a year from now, given the opportunity I will go on and on about him, and how lucky we were to have him for as long as we did (we think he was born with a dysfunctional kidney.)

... anyways, yeah, those things, happy thoughts...

I have a four day weekend. That is a happy thought.
