Henry Dorsett Case
The Blood Sin didn't hurt too bad after it was finished - most of the pain from the crossbars was gone by the time he reached my neck. Taking off the Saran Wrap hurt like hell, and so did washing it.
Kugyou barely hurt at all - it hurt less than some sunburns I've had. Barely stung when I washed and A&D'd it.
As far as getting Kanji goes, it can be a risky proposition if you have little knowledge of the language. I researched which Kanji I wanted before going into the shop, made sure the stencil was put on the right way, etc. Thinking about maybe getting a red outline done on the Kanji - also around the hiragana "no" when I get it added. The "hi" Kanji will be done in red with a black outline.

Ah, the smell of freshly-applied A&D...which usually gets all over the fabric of your shirt and hair withing five minutes of application. Good times, good times.
Both designs are beautiful (I'm particularly partial to The Blood Sin). Seeing them really has me itching for my next one. If time permits (and my wallet), maybe I'll get one done when I'm in Seattle. ninja
EDIT: Congrats on the promotion, Reagun!
