My name is Aurélie (but you can call me Lily or Abiel).
I am nineteen, french & a christian since pratically all my life, but I actually started getting more serious about it (loving God, reading the bible, meditate it, understand it, talk about it, etc) when I was 17 yrs old I believe. Other than that, I live in Canada, I'm a 2nd year student in the fashion & merchandising program. I like photography, art, music, movies, books.. and I'm also into roleplaying, games & mangas 3nodding
Other than that well, I joined this guild to be able to finally be able to talk about the bible, talk about everything that touches christianity or any other discussions, and to also make friends!

Well, what better place to put my first post than here?
My name is Trevor (you can call me Spike or Trevor, I don't care which, but I prefer Spike). I'm from Nova Scotia, Canada and I'm 15 going on 16 in March (funny that I turn 16 on the 16th). I'm in my first year of High School in grade 10 and I have my exams next week, so I might take a few days before I contribute to some discussion since I have to study.
I grew up as a Catholic, but never really went to church that much. Recently, I've been doing a lot of research and stuff about the Bible thanks to an argument between me and one of my Atheist friends about dinosaurs and the Bible when I was 13. Recently I've changed my way of thinking and have gone from Roman Catholic to Protestant. I go to a non-denominational church, but I suppose my beliefs mimic that of a Baptist now. I'm a believer of Young Earth Creationism and the inerrancy of the Bible (KJO-er alert, even though I sometimes read my NIV every now-and-again since it's a study Bible). Topics like evolution and morality intrigue me, but I can go off on other tangents as well.
As for music, my favourite bands are Disciple, Ivoryline, Red and a ton of other stuff. I always love a great guitar riff. I'm an avid gamer and have been since I was little and played The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past as a kid. I like a bunch of different gaming genres, but I'm sure that can wait for another time.

I'm a 23 year old from Chicago, a film maker (or at least I'd like to, but my plan is actually to open up a small production house for Wedding/Graduation/other local video needs). Raised Catholic, lost faith when I was sixteen and heard a Minister at a non denominational service claiming that God was behind 9-11, and that soon a war will start.... And America will lose because we've gotten so sinful. First problem was, I think that (while Mass effect makes it look differently, because there are so many people compared to before that it looks different) we are BETTER than before.
Second, well, why is America the only sinful nation now? Last I checked there was genocide going on half a world over.
Anyway, I was a whiny young rebellious teen falling into that whole stupid Wiccan fad....
And, well, thanks to a couple of friends of mine I sort of found religion. I'm mostly nondenominational, but I go to a Catholic Church (again, I am not Catholic) because the Priest at this particular Church is a dear, dear friend of mine.
What else is there to say? I've got a chip on my shoulder as big as Texas half the time? I love Punk Rock, Joan Jett, Troma Films, and Geek out over Microphones? I sometimes go to the Grocery Store in a Hellboy Costume and pose for Pictures with little kids?
