i've already made a promise to a lokean that he'd be able to see a new tattoo on me by may of next year. i'm going to have two ravens to the right and left of my collar bone (think of where people generally get those sparrow tattoos).

You know you've been on gaia too much when you start dreaming in forums. I dreamed that Tea and someone else were having a very complicated debating match in a thread in this guild while I fried fluffies in the chat thread who made fun of them. Nuri banned someone too. And the debate was called a "boxing match." blaugh

He was supposed to come over last night because I'm leaving for Italy today but ended up minding his nephew all night. Now I won't get to see him before I go. sad

What's even more frustrating is that I can't be upset or angry about it because it wasn't his fault and there was nothing we could do about it. I hate getting stuck in situations I can't do anything about.

I dream about Reagun now and then. And I have had dreams about Nuri and Deo.

I think Deo's the most useful one thus far.

I absolutely adore that comic. It makes me sad though, when I go there after like.. a month and it still hasn't been updated. cry But I understand that real life gets in the way of comics. But still...... it sucks...

Wings Life update:

I recently failed to get a job out of an interview. The job was located five minutes from where I live and pays ten grand a year more than I am currently on. The work would have been satisfying but not nearly as satisfying as what I am currently doing.

Today I decided I would grab the bull by the horns in work and ask for a promotion. In reality, I've been doing senior developper work but paid as a junior developer. I mentioned this and I was offered a promotion with pay rise and told that there would be twenty more developers taken on and that I'm in line to train up the second lot of them.

It's a lot of hard work but it comes with a nice pay rise.

The cloud in this instance didn't have a silver lining as much as a pure seam of the stuff.
