Just watched Human Centipede and The Hole.
Human Centipede was pretty bad, very odd.
The Hole was your average, cliché movie where they have to face their fears. Not very good I thought.

They need to make a movie about Simo Häyhä, the man who personally slew over five hundred Russians with a scope-less sniper rifle and a SMG.

Which "The Hole" was it? Was it the one with a young Keira Knightley and Thora Birch stuck in an old military bunker?

Reminds me in a way of Audie Murphy, who got his own movie and he played himself to boot, specifically telling the producers his life story and what should be left out, seeing as the folks in the cinemas wouldn't believe it otherwise.

I think Simo's story is pretty believeable to an extent. However, I'd assume most of his kills came from being a sniper, and a damn effective one at that, however maybe his machine gun kills would be more like Rambo. However he doesn't strike me as careless.

Assuming they would aim for showing all his kills and 2 hours movie thats one kill every 14 seconds...

Seriously though there is decline in war movies quality, compare "Pearl Harbor" with old "Tora!Tora!Tora!"... and while the likes of "Enemy the gates" or "Blackhawk down" do happen, they got nothing on the epic scale of "A bridge too far".
