Did you have any blots or Sumbels where no one could toast without catching a case of the giggles?

There are cherry trees lining the street.
I waited until they did their maintenance cull and took a couple of branches from one of the piles.

Nick did some work for an Austrian Society cookout -- he was paid with two delicious chickens. I finally finished getting the meat off the bones, and I really don't want to waste the rest of it.

I'm such a susie homemaker. Now if only I had my fricken vacuum cleaner back!

This was different. This was not about the ego of the individual leading the Blot. This was a form of sincerity and community. While there was honest laughter, there were also honest tears.
