Role Playing the Past

Shadow smirked and looked behind him and sighed. ~ I've lost feelings for females a while back. But I'm not gay... I just don't love that much... ~ he said and looked over to Zero and rolled his eyes again and moved forward. (( yes I'm kinda changing his character here ^^ ))  

[Storm_Fighter_Alchemist]

*Zero nodded in agreement.* >I don't feel much either, being an assassin. But Ethiriel's like a little sister to me. She's been around longer than I have.< *He looked back at Ethiriel before turning back to Shadow.* >I think she might be immortal, but I could be wrong...<

*Ethiriel watched the two males in front of her. Her scrying revealed their conversation and she smirked knowingly.* (Oh Zero,) *She thought to herself.* (If only you knew.)

Shadow glanced back at her his eyes were slightly red ~ I do believe she is....~ he said with a smrik and continue to walk now. He didn't know exactly what he was looking for but he was sure he was going the right direction.

*Zero looked over at Shadow, taken slightly aback.* >How can you be sure?<

*Ethiriel nearly jumped out of her skin. someone had been peeping in on her thoughts. She stared at Shadow, noticing his red eyes.* >Shadow,< *She called to him.* >Were you just reading my thoughts?<

-Shadow glanced back shoving his hands in his pockets and smirked his eyes red. He knew Zero wouldn't be able to hear what he would say to her and he just chuckled.- I have my ways.... - he said and winked back at her then his eyes changed back to normal. He continued to walk and started humming a song that he knew and knew no one else did.- ~ Consider yourself lucky though... Ethiriel... if I was like any of my freinds you'd be screwed up in the head by now... ~ he said to her with a laugh.-

*Ethiriel crossed her arms and frowned.* >And just what is THAT suppose to mean?< *She demanded of him. She could feel the power from her rage growing in the back of her mind, but she quickly smothered it.*

*Zero looked back and forth between his friend and his 'sister'. He knew something was up due to Shadow's smirk and Ethiriel's body language.* What is going on between you two? Ethiriel, get that death glare off your face, and Shadow, that smirk is making me very nervous.

-Shadow laughed agian- Oh nothing you need to worry about...- he said answering both their questions at the same time. He shrugged again and looked around and sniffed the air and paused then continued and raised an eyebrow.- Strange... - he mumbled to himself.-

*Zero looked towards his friend.* What's wrong, Shadow?

*Ethiriel started to say something to Shadow when she stopped dead. There was a strange miasma in the air...*

Shadow glanced back at Eithriel and his eyes were red again ~ You sense it too don't you... lets keep moving it won't chase unless we provoke it too...~ he said to only Eithriel. He then sighed and his eyes turned back to the gray " Nothing... just something strange caught my nose.... but its nothin to worry about..." he said and kept moving ignoring the thing behind them.

*Zero shook his head and continued walking.* Shadow, old friend, I think you're becoming paranoid. There aren't many things in these woods that I've run into that would go after a human.

*Ethiriel had broken out into a cold sweat, but she kept walking normally. If the thing behind her was what she thought it was, there was no way she wanted to run into it again.* >Y-you think it won't... n-notice us?< *She asked Shadow*

-Shadow nodded- If it goes after anyone it'll be after me... I"m the one with the weakest aura right now... - he said to her mentally then turned his attention to Zero again.- I could be I never know... but lets just keep going I don't want what I think it is to catch up with us... -he said simply then got to the edge of a wooden area and jumped up easily in the tree and started walking casually again like the there was a pathway between the trees.-

*Zero looked up at his friend walking among the trees.* How do you DO stuff like that, Shad? *he called up to him.* You walk as though there's something up there supporting you!

*Ethiriel smirked and launched herself into the air, levitating next to Shadow.* Two can play at that game, Shadow-sama. *She said, grinning. The grin slid from her face as she focused her thoughts towards Shadow.* >It's a wolf demon, isn't it?<

*Zero stared up at the two of them floating in the air.* Aw, you guys! *He cried.* That's so not fair!

Shadow looked down at Zero and smirked "Jump up and practice... just don't think of what you're doing really..." he then looked over to her again and sighed a deep and unsteady breath. ~ Yes he's been following me everywhere... so don't worry about it....~ he said and hopped to a new branch and moved up a level higher.

*Ethiriel took a slow, unsteady breath, feeling a little ill from the strong miasma.* >why would a wolf demon be following you?< *She asked him.* >Wolf demons tend to stay in packs. Maybe it's a rogue...<

*Zero took a deep breath and jumped up. Instead of falling on his butt, he stayed in the air. he grinned and jumped up to Ethiriel and Shadow.* How easy. Why didn't I master this before.

Shadow looked down his hair came and fell in his eyes making them hide in dark shadows. He then looked up and his face was easy and serene "Well thats because you never thought of it before... you realize real quick what you can do after you do it... and what you can't do...." he said his voice kind. He tried to ignore her question and looked down again sniffing the air secretively.
