I've decided I want a shirt that says "I'm clever." Or one that says "Fantastic!" Of course, when I wore them, no one would get the Doctor Who references. crying

Happy Gaiaversary ^^
I've seen the previews for Hellboy, but it just didn't seem like it warrented a sequel to me. And from what I understand of the comic, he wasn't quite like that... but movies typically change that for some reason.
However, I heard the creature design was supposedly done by the Del Toro man, the guy who did Pan's Labyrinth (which I've always kinda wanted to see). Kinda shocked me at first ^^

Hellboy was fun. I'm glad I saw it. I wish I had gone to an earlier showing and in a couple days I plan to write a thread on the application of the imagery they used.
Nuri>> I'm trying.
I'm lucky I have good friends to keep me on the straight and narrow- in the name of mod, amen.

Deoridhe Native Americans have similar problems. It's racism, honestly. I wouldn't call it racism...so much as it's ignorance tempered through over Romanticized depictions.

Taliah Happy Gaiaversary ^^ I've seen the previews for Hellboy, but it just didn't seem like it warrented a sequel to me. And from what I understand of the comic, he wasn't quite like that... but movies typically change that for some reason. About the only thing changed was his legs. Rather then having the Bull legs...they gave stuck him in pants and boots. Made it easier for Ron Perlman to actually do all the movement required for the charachter. Quote: However, I heard the creature design was supposedly done by the Del Toro man, the guy who did Pan's Labyrinth (which I've always kinda wanted to see). Kinda shocked me at first ^^ The movie and it's new sequel were actually both Produced, and Directed by Del Toro. He's an amazing director and Cinematographer. He has some very vivid imagery and I love it. His used of Psychologic symbols and colors fills every frame. Every shot carefully planed out

Ethermus Prime Deoridhe Native Americans have similar problems. It's racism, honestly. I wouldn't call it racism...so much as it's ignorance tempered through over Romanticized depictions. It's ignorance of other people (based on race) because they have been romanticized (based on their race). How is that NOT racism? confused I mean, I know white sensitivity has turned being called a racist into something worse that throwing a woman in jail immediately after she gave birth and sending the newborn home with the father, but really. confused
