Hey guys, just a little heads-up I suppose. Lol, it's my dad's birthday tomorrow, umm...I'm going to Uni whoo me!

What else? Oh I am getting a Wii on thursday with Zelda hehehe, and I am going to see the worriors in the british museum sometime next week with mum and her friend.

You know the ones from China? I love them so much heh.

Whew finally done with Kay's birthday.
Thursday she turned 4. Saturday was her b-day party so things were pretty crazy for a bit there.

I can't seem to do much on Gaia today (I can hardly get anywhere). crying

Well that day I really literally couldn't even make posts or go in to the stores.
I'm not sure how I manged to make that post. rolleyes

As for me, I was reading about some of the worst disasters in the world and I couldn't believe about the great London fire. It started in 1666 if I'm not mistaken. And that's just one of the many famous disasters of modern times! eek

I'm about to get a promotion at work... from tech writer grunt to proposal coordinator... LOL! Guess that means I won't have a life for a while! But I'll have peeps working for me, so I will have a decent amount of online time... LOL!

You know, I should really stop fooling around on weekends and start writing again. Especially now that I have a PC just for my personal use. The bad part is that I don't have an internet connection but, at least I can still do other things on it.

I don't know if any of you heard of it, but today's the 18th day of the teachers' strike here in Israel -_-. Means its over 2 weeks we don't have school already... It really sucks.
The strike is actually about getting a raise, and the poor payments teachers have.
The government plans to stop it by getting an order which is supposed to prevent the teachers from going on with the strike. Many teachers have already signed a petition saying they'll quit if this order comes out. cry
What about us, the students? What are we supposed to do ?

If the strike goes on - we lose more material. If its stopped - we lose our teachers.

We cant really study on our own, the graduation exams are spread all over the 3 years in high school, there are tons of them, and they're not canceled despite the strike. In addition I'm in a lot of advanced groups, meaning its much harder to find any books for my level. >.<
I have about 2 years left till joining the army [ I've already gotten the order telling me where to assign for checkups ], one of these years is still in high school...

So, for now I work instead of studying, but many other teenagers just spend the time drinking and wandering in the streets.

Why does everything have to be so messed up with the systems in Israel?! crying
