Hello! I'm Jessie, though Aylay's probably better. To avoid confusion, you know. ^_~
I'm a female junior in high school, currently immersed... no, drowning in studies and constant homework, but I'll try to post whenever possible ^^ Some of my interests... hmm, well, I enjoy drawing, reading, singing, and languages (French, Spanish, Japanese)... I suppose I'm pretty outgoing online, but I'm just a tad quieter in person. :p My favorite subject is English. And I have way too many ideas for what I want to do after college, so for your sake, keep your sanity and don't ask. :p

I was raised in a Christian home, and God is a huge part of my life! So yes... I'm yet another Jesus Freak. 8D

Anyways, nice to meet you all! I'm glad I finally found a decent Christian forum. Feel free to drop me an IM, comment... whatever you like, really. I'm on Gaia at least once a week (usually more). I'd love to get on more often, but my homework doesn't agree. >.>;;

Hello my name is Matthew, I go to EVHS at San Jose, CA. I like to wrestle and watch pro-wrestling(even though its fake). I'm 14 years old, and having a positive life because of the Lord. I was saved in July 2008 while working off some hours at a church for Uncle Sam (community service). I had to do community service because I unfortunately assaulted someone with a metal chair out of anger after they made fun of my mother for no apparent reason, but thanks to the lord I have completely changed. Even though I had to work like there was no tomorrow I don't regret it, cause then I wouldn't have made great friends and wouldn't have found the Lord. Anyways thats all I wanted to say, I hope to get to know most of you. mrgreen

Hey, I'm new to the guild. Just comin' to spread Christ and revel in His glory. And many other things also! Anybody want to get to know me, just get in touch, I'll more than willingly reply and talk. wink

Reading through some of these has made me think a little bit. Uhm, let me tell you my story for coming to Christ.

My Mom had been workin' out of town for about three or four months, gone from 'bout Fri-Mon, and all I did was party with friends. And it wasn't until recently that I realized that way was not good. Especially after one weekend with an old friend of mine, had snatched an almost full bottle of brandy... And I myself ended up drinkin' most of it. From what I remember, I can see a bench comin' at me, an' myself falling. I had broken my thumb that night.
And the truth behind why I drank so heavily that weekend, was because I wanted to die. I had been recently engulfed in death, satanic ways, cuttin' myself, listenin' to very harsh and heavy metal, and just doin' ev'rythin' wrong.
But after I had broken my thumb, I believe I caused my parents to strain their relationship. And now, two months later, they are separating. But the thing is, that ev'ryone knew it was comin'... Both said they were only stickin' with each other for me, until I got out of school.
But some good did come out of my wild weekend. I confessed to Christ, and have been studying Him and His ways for about two and a half months now. My mother is finally goin' to be happy. She won't have to deal with my father anymore. See, my dad's a drunk when he's home, and a trucker when he's not. So it's very hard.

But that's why and how I came to Christ. Just so you know who I am.

I'm Candace. I'm 17. I'm Christian, don't ask me what "kind" though because I think that following Christ the savior is the only thing that matters, labels should mean nothing.

I work as a junoir youth leader at my church and as a Christian camp councellor in the summer.

I wasn't born into a religious family. I met Christ through a camp I went to as a little kid. The one that I work at every summer now.
