Swiftsoul sprinted over, panting. "What happened!?" She said in an urgent voice.

There was a fox and Sprintsong blinded it and then when it ran she jumped on it and it started to freak out and it flung her into a tree!

Meanwhile, back at the makeshift camp, Firekit paced restlessly. She knew something had happened, but nobody seemed willing to tell her what it was. Seeing a warrior nearby, she decided to give it another try. "Excuse me, but did something happen?"

Swiftsoul gaped at SPrintsong, sprawled helplessly on the ground. Then she rushed over and prodded and poked her, sniffed her and nodded. "I have very, very good news, and very, very bad news." Then she leaned close to Sprintsong's ear and whispered, "Which first?"

(heheh I know, it was kind of a joke.)

She lifted her head and turned to the other cats, "The good news is, she'll live. The bad news is, she's suffered a major injury to her spinal cord. That can cause many things, including paralysis. She may never be abe to walk again. We won't know until she wakes up. Although, she may be fine. I don't know." She looked down at Sprintsong, pain in her eyes. "C'mon, let's get her back to camp. Be careful and don't bend her back."

Duskpaw nodded her head and tried her best to move Sprintsong back to camp without causing any further damage.

Swiftsoul stretched and sighed as she followed slowly after Duskpaw. When they arived, she nodded to the apprentance. "You did a great job. You can leave now, if you'd like." Swiftsoul didssapeared to her den to get her herbs, mumbling to herself. "I'm getting too old for this job... When will I get an apprentance?"

Firekit spotted Duskpaw, carrying the limp form of the beautiful she-cat. Her eyes widened in horror. Was Sprintsong dead? If not, would she be okay? She hated being in the dark. Sneaking off, she padded silently behind Duskpaw, hoping she would stay unseen. She was going to the medicine cat's den. "that's good," Firekit thought. "they wouldn't take her to Swiftsoul's den if there was no hope." She prayed to starclan not to take Sprintsong from them.

"So whats gonna happen to her?" Sleetpaw asked as he walked into the medicine cat's den.

Firekit sat next to sleetpaw, waiting for Swiftsoul's answer. "Please Starclan, let her be okay!" she prayed silently.
