The oldest cartoons I can remember watching as a kid are Ronin Warriors and, if it counts, Reboot. Reboot was awesome =3
I've also seen almost every Looney Tunes cartoon ever made. Lots of summer specials.

MoonJeli When people reminisce about cartoons like "Pokemon" it makes me feel old. crying And I'm not old! I watched cartoons mostly in the early to mid 80s, so I watched He-Man, Transformers, My Little Pony, Thundercats, Rainbow Bright, and stuff like that. I watched The Mysterious Cities of Gold, too. XD I was born in '88 and watched all those. We had a lot of videos. ^_^; But I was like, eight or nine when Pokemon was huge, and I remember trading cards with my friends in elementary school, playing Pokemon Blue and being OMGSOEXCITED about Crystal 'cause it was the first game where you could be a girl. Ten years later, the games are still a guilty pleasure. sweatdrop

CuAnnan I'll see if I can source a copy for you. If I can, send me your address and I'll post it to you. Merci ^_^ -- I've had one and a half hours sleep in the past 24 hours. I still feel good! The 'second wind' has kicked in, so no naps for me until it's bedtime. We were settling down to sleep at about a quarter to four, then my friend stopped breathing. She started again pretty quickly, but hell; I slept sitting up on the sofa next to her. I don't think anyone really slept that well after. sweatdrop

They're mostly a guilty pleasure because I still get the urge to shout "[Pokemon's name] I choose you!" when I battle. sweatdrop I vaguely remember Reboot, but didn't really care about it. My school didn't have a computer lab until I was in grade six and my family didn't have a computer until I was in middle school, so it wasn't of any interest to me or my brother.

I remember alot of the shows listed, but there were only two shows I just loved watching, American Gladiators (the original episodes mind you), and the original Power Rangers.
And of course, all the classics on Nickelodeon (Legends of the Hidden Temple, Guts, Rocco's Modern Life, etc.)

I am starting to think that Tim Alexanders posts are just a way for me to practice pointing out logical fallacies. Today is a No True Scotsman, complete with a "If its not Golden Age of Classical Greece it's CRAP!"
This isn't fun anymore.

Nuri, take a breath and remember that this is kind of what he's looking for. I'm one of the ones that's not totally against him, but the way he goes about it is all wrong IMNSHO. It's not easy, but I've made the mistake of fueling him--he gets off on it. Hell, he's even not well liked on the H_R list.

I think that occasionally he has good points but again, totally the wrong way. Heck, I think that kindergarden Hellenic thing he wrote was sorta cute.

Nickelodeon used to be so fun to watch :[ I was upset when Nick GaS (games and sports) was taken off the air. It showed Legends of the Hidden Temple, Guts, Double Dare, and--in the wee hours of the morning--Nick Arcade. heart I still have an old orange VHS of five episodes of Rocko's Modern Life. I need to hook up the old VHS player. ninja
