There was a break-in at the music store where my mom works the night before last. Fortunately, no one was there at the time. My mom says there's a good chance the people/person will be caught since they took very specific things: recording equipment, all compatible. That means they've probably been around the store a lot, asked questions, etc. According to my mom, some criminals can be really stupid, even coming back to the same store to ask about buying some accessory for the thing that was stolen. In any case, she doesn't seem too rattled by the event.

The thing that kind of got to her, though, was the blood on the floor. The perp broke the glass door to get in, so when the police came with a dog to check things out, the poor dog cut his paws on the glass. crying They still had to check the whole store, so there are little nickle-and-dime sized splotches of blood everywhere where the dog stepped. Poor guy! Makes me wonder whether the local police department has ever considered protective footwear for their canine units.

Poor little guy! I have heard about some service animals being given booties of some sort to wear.

Poor dog. I know some K9 units do fund-raising for doggy booties and bullet-proof vests and stuff. You could contact the police department and see if they have anything like that going on.

My mum buys them. sweatdrop

If we're reminiscing about favourite childhood shows, I caught Pokemon the other morning when I was channel-surfing and it was even campier than I remembered. I'm shocked it's still on.

Oh, and the old X-Men cartoon. Loved that, watched it with my brother.

I bought some last week -- to be fair, I didn't have any bread that was going stale last week.

When people reminisce about cartoons like "Pokemon" it makes me feel old. crying And I'm not old! I watched cartoons mostly in the early to mid 80s, so I watched He-Man, Transformers, My Little Pony, Thundercats, Rainbow Bright, and stuff like that. I watched The Mysterious Cities of Gold, too. XD
