"Of course I am," Fadingkit mewed. She too longed for the feeling of the wind through her fur but it could wait. As long she had her friend to play. She could wait forever. "If you were a warrior," Fadingkit started. "What would your name be?"

"I don't really think about it." Mintkit turned her head to Fadingkit then continued, "I always thought you don't have a choice. That the leader picks the name, no questions asked. But If I had a choice I would be Mintshadow."

Midnightpaw took another step forward, she eyed Lightningpaw's mentor. With a few more steps she wanted Warstorm to make his first move, she didn't like doing the first move.

Fadingkit licked her friend's shoulder in respect. "That's a wonderful name." she purred. "I honestly don't know what my name could be." she then meowed. From being a kit for these six moons, she haven't really thought about it.

"I'm glad we don't have to worry about it." Mintkit purred quietly.

Warstorm took a step towards Midnightpaw knowing she wanted him to do the first move.

(sorry for the inactivity guys i just spent the week on vacation and i couldn't get on much sweatdrop )
Smilepaw watched Midnightpaw and Warstorm with wide eyes and alert ears, trying to prepare himself for when it was his turn to attempt the fighting move.

As Warstorm took a step towards her Midnightpaw sidestepped to the side and started going around Warstorm.

Wastorm watched Midnightpaw run around him like any enemy would.

Emptykit exited the leaders den with a huge sigh. "How long till i'm going to become the leader? This tired soul needs to break free of it's rank chains!" Emptykit nodded confidently at the sun.

Badgerkit had fallen asleep in the shade.

Duskwind smirked at the kit's comment. "Well the tired soul has to be apprenticed first. You and your brother should be very close to being apprenticed now that I think of it...I'm sure Kindlestar will take care of the ceramony when she gets back."

Emptykit jumped at Duskwinds arrival. "A-ah ya! Of course! Yes, I . . i mean we, are very much in need of apprenticeship! I'm sure apprenticing is just another hurtle Starclan has set up for me!" Emptykit trotted over to give at tap on Duskwind's shoulder. "I look forward to working with you in the future!!" Emptykit's eyes shone brightly.

((Had to jump the entire fight, and I have timeskipped to later that day so that Kindlestar and the rest are coming home. 3nodding ))

The sun was already setting on the sandy dunes that composed the FireClan's territory. Battered, wounded, and with heavy hearts, the warriors that had gone off to battle returned triumphant, but with a death among their members. Kindlestar looked back and saw Dawnlight still carrying the lifeless body of Sleetfur. She sighed. He had been the most experienced of the warriors that had gone to battle that day, and the only one who now hunted with StarClan.

As she turned to look to the front once more, she could see the camp entrance close by. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, but after being surprised by a rogue that claimed to be the rightful leader of the forest, Kindlestar couldn't wait to get home and make certain that her Clan was safe.

Dawnlight didn't even notice the leader's pace quickening as he followed. His face was blank. There was no despair, nor hatred, nor anger. He seemed to be blocking the events of the day. He had sworn to kill that rogue who had killed both an apprentice and a warrior who had been under his command. He was so deep in thought, he didn't notice going through the bracken walls that protected their camp from intruders.

"Well just make sure your work doesn't cause any trouble." Duskwind purred knowing Emptykit was a magnet for trouble. Then suddenly Duskwind's ears picked up cats' pawsteps. Intruders? She lifted her head and quickly found FireClan scent. "Firesong! Thorngaze! They're back! I don't know if anyone is hurt though." she alerted the medicine cats, while running to the entrance not knowing what to expect.

As Kindlestar entered the camp, the first cat she saw was Duskwind. Her heart eased with relief as she saw the Clan was intact, no signs of a struggle in sight. The deputy was also free of any wounds, which also was a good sign of the peace that transpired while she was gone.

"PebbleClan was innocent," she started, her wounds now caked with dried blood. "There was more to it than we thought. We lost Sleetfur to the fight. We won the battle, but I doubt this will be the end of it," she sighed, looking back at the entering warriors, and noticing Dawlight was right behind her, the fallen warrior still in his clutch.
