Whisperheart loped over to Kindlestar. "I thank you for choosing me. I will do my best."

((Sleetfur has only done about two rping posts and those where done along the time I was made leader. I believe enough time has passed for me to be in understanding that he merely has no time for the rp. I follow the rules a bit more strictly than the other leaders when it comes to inactivity, but I do put effort in making sure that the person is sure they do not wish to come back. No answer is considered as a no to me. whee ))

Dawnlight shook his head and pointed at Kindlestar with his tail. "We must go over to Kindlestar and see what she has to say." Saying this, Dawnlight headed over to the ginger leader, his strut strong as he anticipated the battle.

Kindlestar watched as Dawnlight's team came over to where she stood with Sharpclaw and Whisperheart. She nodded at Whisperheart and then looked at them all before speaking. "The first attack will be led by my team. We will cross through the center of the territory and head straight for camp."

Turning to Dawnlight, she continued with the plan. "Dawnlight, you will lead your team and enter through the border where PebbleClan and FireClan meet with MoonClan. Be swift, and be careful. There are less patrols there so there is less chance to be caught. We will hold down the fort for as long as we can, and claim victory at your arrival. Our plan is to raid their camp until they surrender. We will claim back the land FireClan gave PebbleClan all those moons ago, and drive them back to the their place," she finished, her eyes gleaming with hatred.

Whisperheart's eyes sparked with excitement and anger. The land given to PebbleClan still rankled many of the cats of FireClan. Today, that land would be FireClan's once again!

Thorngaze's white paws shuffled nervously.
The tabby tom was obviously uncomfortable when Kindlestar spoke of the battle plan.
he hated conflict between the clans but taking back the land might be worth a chance.
His green eyes was now set on Dawnlight's team, lightly observing the warriors.
Whisperheart looked like she could burst with excitement any second now.
Thorngaze tried his best to not show his amusement but failed when he purred softly at the young warrior.
"Good luck." he whispered.

"It's not fair." Fadingkit murmured to the walls that shaped the nursery as she began to shear the moss into pieces.
The gray she-kit had retreated to her nest after her morning greeting to Dawnlight.
I should do that more often. Fadingkit thought, her head on her paws. Like Lightningpaw! He wakes up early.
I can't wait 'til I'm apprenticed.

Duskwind ears perked up as Kindlestar announced that Thrushpaw would accompany the second team. We'll see how that goes. She got up and started walking around camp, seeing if there were any places that could be a potential weakness to the clan.

Smilepaw jolted awake. He peeked out of the apprentices' den. Mousebrain! I missed a clan meeting! He thought frustrated with himself. He walked out looking for something to do. He couldn't possibly help with the war, since he hasn't been trained yet, but then again how hard could it be?

As Kindlestar saw the comprehension in their eyes, she turned to her own team and nodded at them, then turned back to Dawnlight and gazed into his eyes. "We are counting on you," she stated, letting him know how important he and his team were for the battle to be successful.

"We will not let you down."

The words were said calmly for once, not a hint of mockery or sarcasm in his voice. He nodded back at them and watched them head out first, then turned to Thrushpaw and Sleetfur. "Ready?"

Thrushpaw managed to look dignified instead of stupefied as he nodded. "I'm ready."

Midnightpaw looked around, she seemed to black out for a few moments. She wandered around, hoping to hear what just happened

((Reading back two pages is really not that much of an effort in an rp... but I will give you one recap. The war started, it is still dawn, and the teams were chosen and leaving camp now.))

Dawnlight padded at a quick pace through the FireClan land, trying to get to the place were the three Clans met at the border, hoping to be able to circle around and get to the PebbleClan camp from the other side.

Kindlestar had explained how to get to their camp before leaving, but his heart was still beating as if he had just been chased by a monster. He could only pray to StarClan that he would get there in the right time.

Someone gasped. "Hey!" he shouted. "Where's Flamewind?"


[[LOL nobody's noticed that Flamewind is dead in the Warrior's Den. Is that sad or are people just ignoring me now?]]

((None of my characters have entered the den long enough to notice... well, Kindlestar hasn't entered period... and currently neither are in camp, as there is a war going on. You chose a rather poor time to make your character die as we just had another death in camp. And I told you last time that Sun was NOT in the camp. Please stop rping as if he was... This time it is a warning.))

Thrushpaw followed Dawnlight silently, knowing that the warrior needed to concentrate. He could feel his heart pounding as they got closer to their destination, hoping that things went according to plan.

((I am going to rp Sleetfur because there are a lot more cats in PebbleClan than I thought. xp Curse my announcements making cats active again. xd ))

Sleetfur looked at the younger warrior, and his ears flattened. "Do you think we will make it in time?" he asked, his fur bristling with the upcoming battle.

Dawnlight remained quiet as they passed next to Fire Lake, his pace still fast. "We have to. There is no other option," he growled, his tabby pelt looking rough and unkempt, as though if the stress of the night had made him wilder than before.
