Well, I figured you wouldn't but that's how I felt. After all, I went through all the trouble to translate those myths for the guild and then, I came back to find out that it was all for nothing!? I know you didn't mean it but that was a bit hurtful.

Hurtful you say? Firstly I never knew those myths were there, secondly I never knew how long they took you, and thirdly when I knew the guild was dying slowly but surely I didn't think it worth looking through every single thread on here to see what was worthwhile or not - nor did I have shedloads of time on my hands to do so. If I had done it deliberately it would have been hurtful, but I didn't.

I'm not too bad thanks. I've been rather down in recent times though. After a year and a half's worth of Borders giving me so much trouble I got so stressed and anxious about everything that I got depressed and had time off work because of it. I handed my notice in at the beginning of February and stayed off. They made me feel that bad there I had to leave.

However, I had my first trip abroad with my brother in Prague at the beginning of March, and when I came back I had my first foot operation. That's healing up well by the way. I'm now looking for another job, so I believe things are now on the rise again.

I'm starting to do a lot more with my life now. I spend most evenings working on my book, which is coming along really well now. My friend Nicola has been reading chapters as I send them to her and she thinks it's great. I asked her not to be biased and to tell me exactly what she thought. So things are going well with that now.
Hope you and the girls are doing alright. wink

Sometimes that's the best thing that you can do is just leave. I'm sorry to hear about all the problems there.

I'm cramping, and the girls are sick, but things are going pretty well. Spent most of the long weekend (US holiday Memorial Day) cleaning the apartment and it's mostly clean now, and I got to go on a date with Hubby last night and see Pirates for my birhtday so... biggrin

Cool. What did you think of the film? I both loved it and disliked parts of it as well.

It's great you managed to do something so good on yer birthday Jen. Too bad yer girls are sick but at least they didn't burn their skin trying to do something silly like melting caramel (boy, am I stupid?)
Say, do me a favor and don't comment the third PotC movie here, ok? I haven't even seen the second one yet. rolleyes

Mel: I really wish that I'd watched the first two more recently than I had before going to see the third. (highlight to read; Pirates 3 conversation) I totally forgot that Elizabeth had killed Jack. I remembered Jack was dead, but... yeah.
I was confused for more of it that I would like to have been. I don't think that all of this was due to my lack of recently seeing the previous two pirates.
Oh, and Will/Orlando TOTALLY HOT at the end!!!

I think I'm seeing progress in my hand but it also feels it's taking too long to heal... rolleyes

For the first two weeks I had a HUGE bandage on (about an inch or so thick around my foot), and after that I simply had melolin plaster things covering it for a further 2-3 weeks. After that, I didn't have to wear anything over the wound because it'd had scarred over by then.

It's been about 10 weeks since I had it done now. It still aches a lot on frequent and random occasions, but it's going well. wink

I'm glad yer doing better Mel. I don't know why but it feels as if my hand's burn is staying the same. I hope I'm wrong and it's healing fine...
I have nothing else to add at this time.
