[Blitz Prower]

After Lightningpaw was finished setting out all his moss in the dens, and nursery, he went to the leaders den to put down his last piece of moss. He noticed Midnightpaw but still but in there anyway.

He put down his last piece of moss and then turned back around, not wanting to talk to Midnightpaw. He padded out of the den, and went toward the fresh-kill pile.

Midnightpaw sighed and walked toward the edge of camp.

Smilepaw looked at his denmates. I wonder what's wrong? He walked over to Midnightpaw and gave her a curious look, but said nothing.

Midnightpaw looked up to see Smilepaw, "Hey there." She said expressionless.

Kindlestar looked at the frail body of the apprentice. He seemed to be only sleeping. We will avenge you... I refuse to have you simply be a part of StarClan's games... Her gaze turned to Duskwind, whom was close to the apprentice as well. Not surprising as how she had been his mentor. She also turned to look at Thrushpaw and blinked sympathetically at him.

"How are you holding up?" she asked both, her tail wrapped around her paws.

Dawnlight paced close to the center of the clearing and lay there sunning himself, cleaning his coat in long strokes to relieve the stress of the day. Stay put... How can I stay put? Resting is giving me more of a headache... he thought, his ears twitching.

He saw some movement by the apprentices and noticed Smilepaw making conversation with Midnightpaw. Wonder if she really is just a shy kit that is afraid of showing it... he wondered, his tail giving a thoughtful flick.

Midnightpaw looked around camp to find Dawnlight looking at her and Smilepaw. Her eyes met with his for a moment before she placed her head down, It was no use. She thought

Lightningpaw sat down, tired and thinking what to do. Should I forgive her? Maybe it she just reacted on instinct, without thinking... He sighed. He looked around camp to see Midnightpaw from a distance, along with Smilepaw.

He noticed Dawnlight not too far from him, sunning himself. Hm..should I go talk to him? ...Well, it probably isn't worth it since it doesn't seem like he gets along with too many people...

Midnightpaw unsheathed her claws and started to doodle with that dirt

Another nervous shuffle caught Dawnlight's eye and he noticed Lightningpaw sitting down, his eyes looking tired. The tabby apprenticed looked as though his mind was in the same place as Midnightpaw's. Just what exactly happened with the apprentices? Maybe the fact that one of their denmates finally died is starting to sink in? His back gave a small tense movement as he sat up and started cleaning his chest.

Dawnlight had never been the type to go to a cat and ask what was wrong. He always believed that a warrior would speak when he needed to, the only exception probably being Creamtail. He also knew that Kindlestar would probably get down and sit with Midnightpaw once her mood was better. However, the look on Midnightpaw's eyes made him think the young apprentice may be in a small state of mind in which the busy leader would not be able to help out.

Lightningpaw was born into the Clan... but Midnightpaw was used to being a loner... I wonder if that is why she prefers to be alone all the time? He kept his narrow eyes glaring at both apprentices, his ginger fur gleaming from how silky clean he was leaving it out of need to have an activity of some sort.

Thrushpaw blinked warmly at Kindlestar, thankful for the concern. "I can't help but feel that this was senseless. It want...I want to help in any way I can." His eyes burned with a fierce determination. He would make Pebbleclan pay for what they did.


Firesong finished straightening up her herbs before walking outside. The sight was a grim one: small groups sat huddled together, offering comforting shoulders. She noticed Dawnlight watching the new apprentices, who seemed uncomfortable. Well, of course...this is the first time they've really seen death...even Midnightpaw. She was so young when she lost her mother...

Midnightpaw licked her paw once, and then went on to grooming herself till her fur was nice and sleek. Then she laid her head back down on her paws.

Lightningpaw sat down with his tail around his paws. His yellow, weary eyes looking around camp while he was still in deep thought. He sniffed the air again, the stench of blood faintly lingering. He knew some cat must of died, but he wasn't sure to see and found out for himself.

He normally was the adventurous type that would always want to explore, but right now, the most he would want to do is talk to someone. I was born into the clan, but yet I still don't really have any friends. I did have one, Midnightpaw. Now, I'm still alone.

He sighed again. The only time he experienced death was of his mother, when he wasn't even one moon old. He still and probably will keep missing his mother.

Sharpclaw walked out of camp with Warstorm following her out to go hunt.

"What happened Midnightpaw? You and Lightningpaw were like best friends when you left camp, but now you're avoiding each other." Smilepaw asked, not wanting the two friends be torn apart from something he didn't even know about.

Midnightpaw looked up, "I just said something, no biggy."
