Right, so a couple years ago a game came out called Metro 2033, and it was based on a book.
I never played the game, but I really wanted to read the book, and so I looked for it and came to find out that it was never published in America. Even my library couldn't get it. There are 9 used copies on amazon, the cheapest is $70.
Last night I just decided to try to download it, 5 minutes later and I have a copy of it. You know, there's a moral in there somewhere.

And where there's a will, there's a way. Even if it means going back to FTP clients and IRC. i tend to see that less in stories that are based in russia though, which is probably why i like them so much.
another good book is roadside picnic. the s.t.a.l.k.e.r. series of games are based on it, and both are amazing so give them both a try!!!

But then again those people walk like crazy all over the street and I'm just like "why do you don't feaaar for you lifeeees?"!! Stress really makes me dumb.

lmfao that's part of the reason i dont drive. i mean it absolutely blows that i live in a state now where public transport is completely nonexistant, but when i was in nj/nyc i abuse the hECK out of nj transit and the MTA.
now i have to rely on rides which i dont mind at all. because i hate driving. it scares the heck out of me.
