Kindlestar nodded, then grabbed as much as she could as well, following after the medicine cat and wanting to hurry back to camp as soon as she could. Her ears were flat at the thought of going back. It was inevitable that they had to, but she had no idea how to face the Clan.

((Quick question, do you wish for Thrushpaw to turn into warrior soon, or do you want to stay apprentice for a while still?))

((Well, I think that maybe he should become a warrior during the war, but not before it really starts, if that makes any sense. But whatever is best for you and the plot works nicely.))

"I wish you would start caring for more things, other than just yourself!" He glared at Midnightpaw, swishing his tail violently. He looked away from her only sighing in anger. He kept collecting moss, wanting to go back to camp already.

Midnightpaw flinched at the sound of his voice. She came back and had two large balls of moss with her. "Is this enough?" She asked quietly

((Either one is good. Just wanted to make sure I hadn't overlooked anything as I think your cat was the only one to retain his ranking at the ceremony. xd ))

Sharpclaw gathered some in her mouth and followed them back to camp.

Warstorm looked at the apprentice and nodded his head "Where's Lightningpaw?"

Firesong made her way back to camp quickly, not wanting to waste time. She headed straight for her den so that she could organize her herbs. She'd have to go get more when she could, but she had a supply for emergency injuries now. As she walked through the camp, she spotted Dawnlight, Duskwind, and Thrushpaw still near Sparrowpaw.

Kindlestar lay the herbs inside Firesong's den and padded out of the den. She had no idea what to do. She saw Duskwind, Dawnlight and Thrushpaw still sitting by Sparrowpaw and her ears flattened. What a way to start the day... She looked up at the sky and noticed it was nearly sun high. Her ears perked up as she heard a noise behind her and saw Dawnlight padding towards her.

"Is something the matter?" she asked him, noticing the angry look in his eyes.

"You are not planning on letting PebbleClan get away with this? Are you?" he snarled, his ears flat.

Sharpclaw placed the herbs down in Firesong's den then walked back out and next to Kindlestar "Do you need me to do anything?"

Dawnlight glared at Sharpclaw. "Kindlestar is busy right now," he snarled at the warrior, then turned back at the leader.

Kindlestar looked from Sharpclaw to Dawnlight and flattened her ears. "I will first talk to my senior warriors, then come to a conclusion. Sharpclaw, we may need some prey, when Warstorm comes back with the apprentices, go with him for a hunting patrol," she mewed simply, then padded off towards Sparrowpaw's body for a respectful visit before the night came.

Thrushpaw had turned back to Sparrowpaw's body when he noticed Kindlestar walk up next to him. He looked at her for a moment, wondering if the rumored Dawnlight had told him about were true, and how Pebbleclan could be so cruel as to attack without warning, a patrol consisting of only three members, and two apprentices?!

Lightningpaw padded back over to Warstorm, not bothering to look at Midnightpaw. He had a couple balls of moss with, and spoke, not wanting to sound angry.

"Is this enough, Warstorm?"

Midnightpaw stood back, she thought she finally made a friend in the clan, after all these moons of being alone. But she just had to mess everything up.

"Yah, that's good,nice job,"Warstorm said the walked into camp.

Sharpclaw nodded to Kindlestar as she walked away then saw Warstorm and walked over to him "Kindlestar took me to go hunting with you,"

Midnightpaw walked back to camp and set the moss down, she spread it out to the warriors den, nursery, apprentices den, put some in the medicine cats den and then finally walked to the leaders den with the last piece of moss
