Hey there! My name is Riviera_Marius, but in real life my name is Cat or Kitty. I am 16 years old and live in New Mexico. On Halloween of 2005 I went to school ready for my freshman experience on Halloween. I was in my second period, still pumped up about being there(After all my school was decorated and having a teen halloween celebration). I was called out of class and was told I was going home. My first thought was that my dad was in hospital sick, he had been having some health problems for a couple of weeks. I reached the lobby and when I turned around a corner and saw my mom, my heart sank to the floor. Tears came to my eyes, i didnt know why, but soon would. My mom told me that the morning she had found my dad, dead in their bed. It wasnt until that defining moment in my life that I truly turned to God; i had always known and worshipped him before but not as whole heartedly as I had now. Now, 2 1/2 years later, my heart wishes to serve and worship God to its fullest.

Im going to school to be a Dialysis nurse to try to help others as God has made me to do..

My father was a paid pastor his first 15 years, but is now in a pharmaceutical job about to retire, but he still pastors in jails and prisons helping them get closer to God and such..I think he likes this current gig better x3

@Cat: That's amazing that you were able to take the hurdle in your life and turn it into an amazing soul revival to use for God's glory. I think alot of people would have turned away from Him at that point, but it's amazing to see that it made you stronger. 3nodding

Hi there, I'm Carok.
Let's see...I'm 17 I'm from South Carolina, and I'll have been a Christian for three years in September (two days after my 15th B-day.). Though I've only been a Christian for a little time, I've been attending a Christian School for 8 years and even in the time that I held nothing but contempt for the Word I still learned it.
After three years of drug abuse, a horrible relationship with a girl I never needed to be with, and years of a sadistic nature, I finally just broke down and gave in to His will.
Ever since I've been content where I would have be upset, I've been calm where rage would have taken over, and I have been able to see how even the smallest events in my life have contributed to some of the best things, and the two things that give me the greatest joy these days is seeing people becoming believers, and when I can help a fellow Christian strengthen his/her faith.

Welcome to the guild, Carok. Your testimony sounds alot like mine, though in my case, it was my mom and brother who had the issues with drugs, not me. My mom is sober now, and saved, and my brother I think is doing his best to stay out of trouble, though I pray for him often. It's great that God dragged you out from that dark place in your life; I look forward to discussing things with you. 3nodding

Hello, my name is Favian, I am 17 years old, I'm finally Senior. Whoo!
I just thank God for what all he has done for me, time after time, blessing after blassing. I just thank Him because he is good.
I thank Him also that I found this Guild because there are other Christians like me who will put God first instead of the world.

All I ask in return from all of you who read this to keep on search for God, never give up on Him for he is a merciful & powerful God. As John 3:16 says: For God so love the World He gave his only begotten Son that through Him he shall not perish, but have everlasting life. Come to Him as your are and He will help you the minute you respond.
