Lightningkit flicked Smilekit's ear a little hard and glared at him for a second. "Shhh!" He flicked his tail at him with a semi-angry tone. "You're not so high and mighty Smilekit, so listen!" He whispered quietly and annoyed.

Smilekit gave Lightningkit a hurt look but kept silent and turned to the Fire Rock, ears alert.

((What can I say? I think it would be boring if everyone welcomed back Sharpclaw with open arms. whee ))

Dawnlight's ears flattened in anger at this, and his eyes flashed angrily towards Sharpclaw.

Kindlestar continued, ignoring the look.

"In more news, our three kits, Smilekit, Midnightkit and Lightningkit are going to be turned into apprentices.

Warstorm, you have been a warrior for a short time now, and you seem to spend most of your time alone. I think it would be a good idea to have you integrate yourself more to the Clan. As such, I give you Lightningkit to mentor.

Lightningkit, you are now of six moons, and you have shown much promise in fighting strategies. Until your warrior name is revealed, you shall be called Lightingpaw," she yowled, announcing the first apprentice.

Lightningkit, now Lightningpaw stood up proud with his chest out, loving the attention. He looked at everyone and then Kindlestar, giving her a thanking look.

Smilekit looked at Lightningpaw, the orange yellow tom looked full of confidence. Suddenly Smilekit felt nervous he wondered if he would make a good enough apprentice. Would he disappoint his mentor? His mother? He sat there and just looked at his paws.

((Lightningpaw is and yellow colored tom, but I just type in orange text, since you can't see yellow text. Though his eyes could be orange, not sure. Haha, Smilekit. razz ))

((Well, in my days mentoring your apprentices was nor reinforced, so Duskwind left me to the elements. dramallama I think I turned out alright if I do say so myself. rofl ))

Dawnlight called out Lightningpaw's name in a half hearted voice. He was not thrilled with the choice of mentor, as he had never liked Warstorm as an apprentice, but he hoped the apprentice would turn out for the better.

Kindlestar waited for the commotion to stop and she turned to Smilekit.

"Smilekit, your six moons have arrived as well, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. Creamtail is a fine warrior, and I hope she teaches you how fighting is not always the right way to end a conflict. From now until your warrior name is revealed, you shall be known as Smilepaw," she yowled, announcing the second apprentice.
