Oh, here's something I heard somewhere, but I can't remember where... I'd be greatful if anyone could tell me:

"I'd like to leave this world the same way I came into it: screaming, naked and coming out of a v****a."

I think it was some comedian... I'm not sure though.

I submitted it to www.internetbumperstickers.com and they made a sticker out of it. I was so happy.

A good summery of my feelings on the debate so far: The right to throw your fist ends at the other person's nose.
You can do what you want to yourself, such as suicide, but if you harm other people while doing it I consider it wrong. And I mean physical harm. Emotional harm is too hard to define, since it varies from person to person.
But this would apply to adults. If you're dependent on another person, you have, really, no say on what you do with your life. And if a teen commits suicide, the parents should be punishest for allowing the teen to suffer in such a way death was the only option.

Eh, it's not always the parents' fault though. Some kids are clinically depressed. Some are clinically stupid. I mean yeah, if you're 9 year old hangs themselves, there;s something very wrong there, but by 16/17 not everything that happens is the fault of parents.

I have to agree with Xander though about the whole emotional hurt. It's too hard to know where the boundaries are. Some people are more sensitive than others.

If a friend came up and insulted me, I'd laugh and insult them right back. But what would happen if a stranger did it? That's a totally different situation, even if it's them same words. Emotional hurt is impossible to map, since everyone is insulted by different things. Call me a b*****d and I'll laugh. Call me a moronic a*****e and I'll punch you.

Yes, it's pretty well known that Weird Al is weird.

Man, I cannot find my old favorite fanfction writer at all. It makes me sad.

true, though there are things that are pretty damn likely to be emotionally painful to MOST people.

though eh. Cassie is of mixed mind because part of her increasingly/strongly believes, at least for herself, in a suck it up type mentality. Like we were having this "deep and meaningful" conversation in one of my classes today and I'm basically like 'um, how bout I keep my issues to myself, you keep your issues to yourself, and we can all be merry'. Cassie dislikes truly deep and meaningful conversations rofl

*sigh* Yeah, sadly. This writer was in the middle of this very nice series and his site made him pull it. Or he pulled it. Never found out why and entire story and it's sequal was gone.

Wait a second... I found him! I was spelling Ozmandayus wrong...The hell?! A few sites are saying he was ripping off other people's stuff! Grrrrr. My hopes are now dashed. Though it would explain why I could never find his stuff. Anger. Anger and RAGE!
