It's a common misspelling of paganism.

It's usually applied two ways- either as a learning tool (for the benefit of the person who misspelled it through a drawn out process of questions and responses) or as an insult to the 13th Generation Pegan Wytch who's great great great great grandmother was burned in Salem!!!!!11111!

I can clearly recall three instances of direct unquestionable admitted flirtation and at least one instance where I had to consciously and repeatedly tell myself it was meaningless and innocent.

I used to watch the Lambchop show whenever it came on with my little sister. ^_^ I think I'm the only one who remembers it as the origin of that song, though...
